THE POWER OF SHARING AND TESTIFYING THE RESURRECTION

Acts 4:32-35  -  New International Version (NIV)

32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. 33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all 34 that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35 and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.

When the Resurrection is preached not just as a bible doctrine, not just as a historical fact but when the Resurrection is preached with apostolic revelation and the power of the Resurrection relates to daily living then you will see much gracious grace come upon the Church today and great power for signs and wonders, great power for miracles will be manifested within the Church.

It is not about how well we behaved! It’s not about our goodness and obedience.  It is about His Resurrection Power and Life!  When His Resurrection Power flows in us then His goodness will follow us all the days of our lives.  In Him we move and live as the bible says.

When the power of God moves in our midst then there is no needy persons within us.  All our needs has been met through the power of Jesus.  When we need healing, healing comes, when we need deliverance it comes through. All personal and financial needs will be met.  People begins to give and share whatever they have and this is what the Resurrection will do to the church today.  Selfishness is not there and greed too. God’s grace was so powerfully working among them. And the spirit of willingness is all there. We need a REVELATION of the RESURRECTION!  It is not about an event we had to celebrate yearly but a RELATIONSHIP to live for Him and through Him.

The power of God that raised Jesus Christ from the dead is literally available to everyone who believed on a daily basis - and it is people that believe it who will see it and experience it.  If you don't believe you will not experience it and you don't see it. There is a power of resurrection that can come on your body on a daily basis to renew life in your body.

How do you get into resurrection life?

How do you experience it? Someone says “It is through the revelation of righteousness”. It is through the revelation that God has made us righteous even we are not perfect. That is to say I am righteous all day - all the time irrespective of my behavior but it is based on the behavior and obedience of Jesus Christ on my behalf! I am righteous by faith.

I believe that the more your faith rises in the revelation that you are righteous, the more power of the resurrection will be made manifest in your spirit and physical body.

The next thing is that everything that is dead will comes alive in us and in our churches. You see resurrection power brings dead things back to life, it brings dead relationships or marriages back to life, it brings dead financial accounts back to life, it brings dead minds back to life. The power of the resurrection removes sickness, diseases and open blind eyes and spiritual eyes - it brings people out of crutches and we have seen those miracles before. No one can tell us they don't happen!  This is where the power is!  It is in His Resurrection Power and the Revelation of Righteousness.

Revelation of righteousness raises the power of resurrection into your life and through your physical body and every area of your needs.

Scripture for Memory:  Romans 8:11  -  New International Version (NIV)

11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

May the Lord open our spiritual eyes and understanding and receive the full blessings of the Power of Jesus Resurrection and Glory.  Amen!

SEEING WITH THE SPIRIT

A.   Our spiritual eye is the eye of spiritual understanding (Ephesians 1:18.)

New King James Version (NKJV)

18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,…”

Your inner eyes could see where no one sees.   God is the one who opens your spiritual eyes to see.  You understand and appreciate your spiritual calling, inheritance and power with your spiritual eyes and not with your natural mind.

 Acts. 26:18

18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

With your spiritual eyes, you can see beyond the natural realm.

Moses saw God with his spiritual eyes (Hebrews 11:24-27)

24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; 25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward.

27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

1.    Anointing our spiritual eyes.

a.    Your spiritual eyes must be supernaturally anointed by God (Rev. 3:18) and enlightened to perceive revelation and understanding.

  1. The devil had inflicted spiritual blindness (2 Cor. 4:4) and spiritual short-sightedness. We need to break these yokes over our spiritual eyes.

  1. The end time believers are specially admonished to receive the anointing of the inner eyes (Rev. 3:18) because visions and dreams are norms.

2.    Looking into the realm of the spirits world.

The spiritual eyes can gaze into the heavenly realm.  (Acts 7:55; Lk 24:31)

In the Garden of Eden before the fall, Adam and the woman communed with God. They did not speak with vocal words, they "understood," they were in total harmony with God. They had spiritual eyes. That is a fact! How do we know that? Well, let us look at Genesis 3 before the fall:

*And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, THEN YOUR EYES SHALL BE OPENED, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman SAW that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the EYES, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. (Genesis 3:4-6)

We note that the serpent said to the woman "then your eyes shall be opened." Do we conclude then that she was presently blind? No, because we read that she "saw that the tree was good for food" and "that it was pleasant to the eyes." She was obviously "seeing" with some type of vision. Let us go on to after the fall:

*And the EYES of them both WERE OPENED, and they knew.... (Genesis  3:7)

Yes they were "seeing" before the fall, but their "eyes... were opened" after the fall. What does that mean? Well, they had spiritual eyes through v.6 and communed with God. In v.7 they fell from His Holy Presence, from the Most Holy Place, from communing with God, from seeing with spiritual eyes. They were thereafter separated from God. Sin separates from God. Sin stood between God and them. Sin is a barrier between God and man. Sin is opaque. There is no light in sin. As a consequence, their spiritual eyes were cut-off, closed, darkened, and their natural eyes "were opened." Now they could only communicate with God.

THEIR EYES WERE DARKENED

The following Scriptures reach back to the woman and Adam, and forward to those "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." (II Corinthians  4:4).

*Let their eyes be DARKENED that they may not see, and bow down their back away. (Romans 11:10)

*Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became VAIN in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was DARKENED. (Romans 1:21)

*Having the understanding DARKENED, being ALIENATED from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the BLINDNESS of their heart. (Ephesians 4:18)

In Luke 24:30-31 we see another example:

"And it came to pass, as he sat at meal with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. And their eyes were opened and they knew Him, and He vanished out of their sight.

Luke 24:32-35

"And they said to one to another, did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them saying, the Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon. And they told what things were done in the way, and how Jesus was known of them in the breaking of bread."

Jesus broke the bread, the backs of His hands became the focal point. They saw visible the ugly, gaping holes in the backs of his hands - holes that were made by the harsh Roman spikes. With that sight in mind they saw Jesus and their hearts burned and knew Him. Their weak faith became strong again.

Their spiritual eyes were opened when they saw Jesus in the Holy Communion. All spiritual blindness and bondage had to go. The nail pierced hands gave them revelation of Jesus. Their hearts were burned as they received the revelation of Grace in Jesus broken body.

Likewise our eyes will be open to the things of God's Grace. Physical healing, miracles and deliverance will break loose. As our spiritual eyes open, we will be able to know Jesus better and acknowledge Him as God. The disciples said, "He was known to us in the breaking of bread." Friends, Holy Communion ministry is a very powerful ministry as Jesus performed it Himself with the disciples.

Bread breaking breaks blindness. We are blinded by doubts, religion and laws.
Bread breaking causes heart to burn.  We get revived, refreshed and renewed each time we come to the Table of Grace.

SPIRITUAL DEVELOPING OF YOUR MIND

The key to receiving revelation from Holy Spirit depends how fast you renewed your mind with God’s word.  The result  is our actions that will only glorify God.

A.  KEY TO RENEW YOUR MIND YOU ZERO INTO THE WEAK AREAS OF YOUR MIND.
The word  ‘REVELATION’  means transfer of  knowledge from the spirit to the soul (mind).  John 16:18 – Spirit of truth is able to connect with for renewed mind – clear, holy, sanctified and peaceful. Holy Spirit has the mind of God. The knowledge of God is in your  spirit.  Its needs to act it out as the mind of Christ.

 1 Corinthians 2:10-12
New King James Version (NKJV)
10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

We know that the things given by God that transferred to our mind and we act it out to obey. When ‘Fear’ the ugly head comes out says, ‘NO’ – Don’t  obey! You need to hear faith to obey – Faith  cometh  by  hearing the Word of God.

God’s spirit in your mind must work together and agree –Gird up your mind with truth.
Just to relate a few things we can have below:

1.      AN HONEST MIND  1 CHRONICLES 28:9 – A WILLING  MIND

       1 Chronicles 28:9
New International Version (NIV)
“And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every desire and every thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.”

  • Serve God with a willing mind and a perfect heart. To Serve God without a willing mind you are forced to serve! Are you forced to praise and sing? The cause of unwillingness is from the heart that is not right.
  • The Lord searches all hearts and understands all thoughts. David told God to search his heart. David knew his heart’s condition.  ( Psalms 51:6 –10.)
  • When our hearts are not right with God; God can create a clean heart, clean mind and clean hands to serve the Lord willingly. No questioning? No Doubts? Why Am I doing this?
  • Did your hands run wild?  Why?  You can control your mind, your feet don’t run wild and take off.  Then your mind – doesn’t run wild – where is no control.  The Holy Spirit controls it.  If you bring it under the control & submission of the Holy Spirit.  (Philippians 4:8  “You will renewed your mind then God controls it”)

2.       A TEACHABLE MIND – Acts 17:11, 12
              – Readiness of mind or being teachable.
I will receive the Word with readiness of my mind.

            3 Keys to being teachable:-
a.      Meekness – James 1:21.  Essential in Hearing.  Meekness being teachable towards God.
b.      Humility – means the proper estimation of yourself according to the Word – Phil. 2:3-4, 4:17
c.      Gentleness – 2 Timothy 2:25 – In teaching and many more.

So meekness toward God; humility toward self and gentleness in your outreach towards others.

1) A Teachable Mind is Noble – Acts 17:11,12
Noble means true spirited – positive – not negative with the Word.  Most Christians are negative with the Word.  They tried to question the Word with their human mind.  They wanted facts and figures.

2) Readiness of Mind –  example “ openness, not stubborn”
Stubbornness is a mental attitude and has a spirit sometimes – pride, self-centerness, self-esteemed. Stubbornness is still an attitude which we choose in our mind – against the mind of God’s spirit.    So stubborn – is unwilling, unteachable and unreadiness.

The key of blessings is readiness and willingness.  There was instant response to the Word and instant involvement.

Matthew 13:23
King James Version (KJV)
23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

 3)   Believe – They searched the scriptures -
Romans 8:6 – To be carnally minded means hostile to Word; worldly mind always resisting the Word.

The Spiritual Mind is life and peace.  It is a Heavenly mind                        Colossians 3:1

            What wisdom are you seeking?
A believing mind is a spiritual mind and can be easily  teachable.

James 3:15-17  -  New King James Version (NKJV)
15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
