THE EYES OF THE LORD

THE EYES OF THE LORD

1. The Lord eyes strongly support us:

2 Chronicles 16:9  - King James Version

“For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.”

Legacy Standard Bible

“For the eyes of Yahweh move to and fro throughout the earth that  He may strongly support those whose heart is wholly devoted to Him.”

And why was that? Precisely because “the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him” (v.9). God in His providence, is constantly on the lookout, as it were, for those who will rely upon Him in their trials and difficulties. And He does this in order that He may show Himself strong on our behalf!

2. The Lord’s Eyes Encourage Us

John 1:47, 48

47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no deceit!” 48 Nathanael said to him, “How do you know me?” Jesus answered him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”

This is a prophetic picture – prophetic glory of God coming down in the last days church. The church that believes will see greater things coming upon the earth. There will be more supernatural things happening in these last days.  Glory upon glory, grace upon grace, power upon power as Heaven door is opening and angels are appearing to His people.

Here the Lord is encouraging Nathanael (you and me) a church there is no deceit (deception) a pure, blameless Church.

3. The Lord’s Eyes Direct Us

Psalms 32:8 -I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;  I will counsel you with my eye upon you.

4. The Lord’s Eyes Deliver Us

Psalms 33:18,19

Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love, 19 that he may deliver their soul from death and keep them alive in famine.

5. The Lord’s Eyes Protect Us

Psalms 34:15 - The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry.

6. The Lord’s Eyes Preserve Us

Proverbs 22:12 - The eyes of the Lord keep watch over knowledge,
but he overthrows the words of the traitor.

7. The Lord’s Eyes Provide For Us

Matthew 9:35.36

35 And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

8. The Lord’s Eyes Comfort Us

Luke 7:13

11 Soon afterward he went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a great crowd went with him. 12 As he drew near to the gate of the town, behold, a man who had died was being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow, and a considerable crowd from the town was with her. 13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.” 14 Then he came up and touched the bier, and the bearers stood still. And he said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.” 15 And the dead man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus gave him to his mother.

In Conclusion:

The Eyes of the Lord support us, encourage us, direct us, deliver us, protect us, preserve us, provide for us and comfort us.

PRAYER:

Dear Lord, I come to you today asking for guidance. I feel lost and overwhelmed, and I need your help in finding my way. Please open my eyes and heart to the direction you want me to take. Help me to make wise decisions that will lead me closer to your path for my life. Give me the strength and courage to persevere when times are difficult. Lead me with your truth and love, so that I may live a life that brings glory to your name. Thank you for your guidance and protection. Amen.

May the Good Lord bless you and your family!  Amen!

JESUS IS PRECIOUS

JESUS IS PRECIOUS

1 Peter 2:6-8 (KJV)  Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.[7] Unto you therefore which believe He is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,  [8]  And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

The word “Precious” is used twice in our focal text today. It is used first in Peter’s quotation from Isaiah 28:16. Peter wrote in verse 6:

“Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded”

Peter uses the word again in verse 7: “Unto you therefore which believe He is precious”

In both cases that which is “Precious” is a “He” not an “It”. In our world today we consider things to be precious. That word “Precious” is defined by Webster’s Dictionary as:

“Of great value or high price”  “Highly esteemed or cherished”   “Excessively refined” - Jesus is more precious than silver or gold.  Jesus is a Person.

Jesus is a Precious Person.  Is He precious to you and me?   He that believes on Him shall not be confounded. (shall not be ashamed)  NIV

JESUS A PRECIOUS TO ALL

1 Peter 2:7 New International Version

”Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe, “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,”

Psalm 118:22 – “Now to you who believe, this stone is precious, But to those who do not believe, the stone the builders rejected has become the capstone.”

1. A Precious Corner Stone

What is a Corner Stone?

It is the capstone is also known as the “keystone”. It is the stone in the centre of an arch that holds the arch in place by withstanding the pressure from both sides.

a) In some circles the capstone is also known as the “keystone”. It is the stone in the center of an arch that holds the arch in place by withstanding the pressure from both sides.

b. If a capstone is too large, the two sides of the arch will fall outwards. If it is too small, the arch would cause the stone to be crushed by the pressure and the arch would fall in on itself.  Take away the capstone everything will collapse. He is important and precious.

2. God has made us each unique, like stones; but it is Jesus, the capstone, the keystone that hold us all together building relationships, beginning ministries, growing a church. If we have no one willing to work with children and youth, we will have none. If we have no place for families with children, we won’t reach them. The arch of our church needs every stone, uniquely shaped to fit into its place in the arch with Christ at the centre.  Notice Jesus is the Door.

2. A Precious Blood

1 Peter 1:18,19

18 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

The blood is precious because it is sinless and a lamb without blemish or defect.  No blood of mankind that God accepts, but it’s the blood of His Son

Jesus only can take away the sins of the world. The blood of Christ is precious to us because it pays. Not only does the blood of Christ earn righteousness but it also pays the debt of our unrighteousness. The Scriptures universally declare that the wages of sin is death (Rom. 3:23)

Now today, the precious blood has power to overcome the power of the devil. Every sickness and diseases – Jesus paid for it. It has to ‘GO’.

What does the blood do? The Precious power of the blood has 5 benefits:

Propitiation: To Remove God’s Righteous Wrath

Justification: To Extend God’s Full Acceptance

Redemption: To Purchase Our True Freedom

Forgiveness: To Restore Our Best Relationship

Pacification: To Make Peace with God Himself

3. A Precious Faith

The precious faith of the believer

2 Peter 1:1 -  Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who through the righteousness of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours”

1 Peter 1:7   KJV

“that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,”

Worldly men look upon riches and prestige, and power, and pleasures, and possessions — but however highly they may be prized, the Christian possesses something infinitely more valuable. He has "precious faith" in Christ, which secures him a saving interest in the "favour of God which is life," and in his "loving-kindness which is better than life."

Earthly honours, dignities, grandeur, estates, etc. — are but fleeting vanities, and unsatisfying in their nature.

But that which "precious faith" gives to the Christian shall exist forever. That faith looks not at the things which are seen, which are temporal — but at the things which are not seen, which are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18.

This faith of our is going to be tested by fire – with that strong faith it will give praise and honor and glory to God at His coming.

4. A Precious Promises

God precious promises given to us – 2 Peter1:4

“whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”

4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

These are precious promises given to us to be partakers of God divine nature to escape the corruption of this world.

2 Peter 1:3 – “His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,”

To be a partaker of the divine nature means that the characteristics of God’s nature become my own – through His creating work in me!

God says I am going to exchange this corrupted nature in you and put my divine nature to you. So you can be like Jesus.

5. A Precious Character

1 Peter 3:4 English Standard Version

4 “but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.”

A Precious Character of God in you.  The hidden person that is beautiful of a gentle and quiet spirit which in God sight is very precious. This speaks of God precious character.  There are more to God’s character – His gentleness, righteousness, mercy, grace, love, peace, long suffering and forgiving nature.

We are to that spiritual goal – your goal is to be like Jesus. 1 Peter 3:3 Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— 4 rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.

PRAYER:

Lord JESUS, keep me free today from evil, sin, temptation, enemies attacks and afflictions, fear of darkness, fear of man, sickness, diseases, doubts, anger, all calamities and from all that is not of thy Kingdom.

Draw me to your precious blood and promises and let my precious faith reign with You forever more.  Let your divine character manifest in my whole being as I live for you.  Thank you, Jesus, Amen.

BENEDICTION:

May the Lord go with you and give you peace.

May the Lord bless you and your family forevermore. Amen.

2 Corinthians 3:7-10 – vs. 9 “For if the ministry of condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry of righteousness!”

The bible declares that the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.  You and I are under the new covenant – the covenant of grace and righteousness. The gospel is the gospel of grace and righteousness.

How much more glory today you will see the Church had because of the Ministry of Righteousness that exceeds (multiply) in glory.  You can do greater what Moses did.  Why, because today the glory of righteousness that is in you exceeds of that of Moses in O.T.  The Church has that Glory!  The Ministry of righteousness is much more glorious then the former one of Moses.    The Church has that!!!!  The days are coming!

The New Testament Glory is from “Glory to Glory” (song: From Glory to glory He’s changing me)  The glory multiplies in me.  Paul called it - The Ministry of Righteousness of God (received as a gift) is revealed to us that will exceed much more.  So by faith to faith you will have to release it.  Speak it and Believe it.

Rom. 10:6 says the Righteousness of faith speaks…” in this way.  Your faith righteousness speaks or confess.  Vs. 10 says “For with the heart one believes to righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  Your confession will bring life and power into your ministry. Whatever your situation may be “speak into the air and confess your righteousness in faith.  Let your faith speaks and believe in your heart so the manifestation of his glory will show forth in power with signs and wonders in these last days.

The bible says, "they beheld God's glory" and three million Israelites saw God's glory. (Exodus 24:16). The glory was like blazing pillar of fire at night and cloud of glory by day for 40 days.

The question is how much more shall God manifest His Glory at the end of this age? The bible says "the latter glory temple (you and me) shall be greater than the former glory" Haggai 2:9   Christ glory is going to be greater than the former glory of Moses.  Let it be, Amen and Amen.

Peter Preaches to the Crowd (Prophetic Days)

18 Even on My menservants and maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. 19 I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. 20 The sun will be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the coming of the great and glorious Day of the Lord.

TREES IN THE BIBLE

TREES IN THE BIBLE

Trees are mentioned in the Bible more than any living thing other than God and people. And every major character has a tree associated with it. Jesus died on a tree because it was prophesied in the Old Testament. Trees, like Jesus, give rather than take.

There are tree on the first page of Genesis, the first Psalm, the first page of the New Testament, and the last page of Revelation. Whether it is the fall, the flood, or the overthrow of the Pharaoh, every major event in the Bible has a tree marking the spot.

·         Jesus said , “He is the true vine and that his Father is the dresser of the garden” (John 15:1).

·         the Bible refers to itself as a Tree of Life (Proverbs 3:18).

·         We are told to be like trees planted by streams of water that yield their fruit in season (Psalm 1:3).

2. 2. Every major character has a tree associated with it. Moreover, every major character in the Bible appears in conjunction with a tree.

·         Noah received the olive branch (see  Genesis 8:11).

·         Abraham sat under the oaks of Mamre -  (Genesis 18:1).

·         Moses stood barefoot in front of the burning bush (Exodus 3:2–5).

·         Joseph might appear to be an exception, but the Bible tells us that Joseph simply is a tree (Genesis 49:22).  A fruitful vine

In the New Testament

Ø  Zacchaeus climbed the sycamore fig (Luke 19:1-4).

Ø  The blind man saw people as if they were trees walking (Mark 8:24).

Ø  The disciples gathered on the Mount of Olives with Jesus. (Luke 22:39).

Ø  Jesus died on a tree because it was prophesied in the Old Testament.

3. Israel Represented by Four Trees

The Vine – “the choicest vine” – Emblem of Fruitfulness – Isaiah 5:2

The Olive – “fatness of the olive tree” – Emblem of Testimony – Romans 11:17

The Fig – “the firstripe in the fig tree” – Emblem of Sweetness – Hosea 9:10

The Fir – “I am like a green fir tree” – Emblem of Freshness – Hosea 14:8

 4. Trees of Righteousness – Isaiah 61:3

These trees obtain life from Gods righteousness.  Trees in bible days it represent people. The tree has a ministry. God has made every believer an OAK TREE of RIGHTEOUSNESS. You are called the Oak of Righteousness the planting of the Lord.

God bless you and your family, Amen.

THE GRACE OF JESUS CHRIST

THE GRACE OF JESUS CHRIST

Jesus is full of grace and the graciousness of Jesus never ends.  We do not wonder at the gracious words that fell from Christ’s lips, for grace was poured into them – Psa. 14:2, the grace of God was upon Him Luke 2:40; yea, He was full of grace and truth. So grow in the grace of Jesus Christ in your walk with Him. – 2 Peter 3:18.  We believe that:

1.   The grace that is in Christ Jesus is a Saving Grace.

“By grace ye are saved” – Eph.2:5

2.   The grace that is in Christ Jesus is a Sufficient Grace.

“My grace is sufficient for thee” – 2 Cor. 12:9

3.   The grace that is in Christ Jesus is a Stimulating grace.

“By the grace of God I am what I am” – 1 Cor. 15:10

4.   The grace that is in Christ Jesus is a Serving grace.

“Let us have grace whereby we may serve God acceptably” – Heb. 12:28

5.   The grace that is in Christ Jesus is an Stablishing  grace.

“It is good thing that the heart be established with grace” –Heb. 13:9

6.   The grace that is in Christ Jesus is a Sacrificing grace.

“Ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor” – 2 Cor.8:9

7.   The grace that is in Christ Jesus is a Supplying grace.

“Of His fullness have all we received, and grace for grace” – John 1:16

Benediction: The Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God, and the Communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

THE CALL TO SEEK GOD'S FACE

THE CALL TO SEEK GOD’S FACE

Psalm 24:6-8 New King James Version (NKJV)

6 This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face. Selah  7 Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!

You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart" (Jeremiah 29:13; see also Matthew 7:7–8)

Psalm 63:1–3 expresses this strong desire: "O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory. Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you."

1) When we seek His face we touch His Holiness and Blessing flows

“Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. They will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God their Savior. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob” (Psalm 24:3–6).

2) When we seek His Face we Gaze at His Power and Glory.

“O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in your sanctuary and gazed upon your power and glory. Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you!” (Psalm 63:1–3, NLT).

The Glory of God brings ease and revelation to us. It gives us the knowing and also will open our spiritual eyes to see more of His Glory. The bible says, the Glory of God is our inheritance given to us before Jesus died. (John 1:22, 23; Colosians 1:27)

We the church is entering into a season of extraordinary manifestations of God's glory during this coming years. In these years ahead something more are happening in the world and in the spirit world. The Sun of Righteousness and Son of Glory are coming nearer! Jesus the Son of God is coming! And Christ return does not depend on how evil the world becomes but how Christlike and glorious the church becomes.

3) When we seek His face we are Favored and Blessed.

“May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you” (Numbers 6:25, NLT)

His favor is for a life-time not a one time.

Ø  God’s favor brings God to answer prayers instantly – Psalms 102:17 – Kingdom Prayers

Ø  God’s favor produces many miracles and healings – Psa. 102:20 –

Kingdom Wonders

Ø  God’s favor causes the people to unite and serve God’s Kingdom.

Psa. 102:22.  – Kingdom Service

Ø  GOD’S favor cause people to unite  -  Kingdom Unity

Psalms 133:1 - “Unity causes anointing to come down.  The Lord commanded  blessings even life forevermore.  Unity releases anointing and power.  Unity releases blessing of all kinds.  Unity releases His Life to flow to us.

4) Lastly, when we seek His face we Desire to be like Him

“How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty!
My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.” Psalm 84:1-2

And again, “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?” – Psalm 42:1-2

JACOB BECAME A NEW MAN

Jacob became a new man – Jacob wrestled with the angel and his name was changed – his name, character & life was changed. He is able to face Esau his brother wanted to kill him and Jacob was spared by him.  Jacob’s name the place “peniel” or the face of God.

Challenge

Give your heart to seek the Father and His Son.

Let the Holy Spirit leads us to the Face of God.

Let us seek His face more than His Hand.

Let us seek God to change our lives more than anything else.

Let us be a generation of seekers of God – Jacob’s generation – a man and woman after God’s heart and purpose.

Let us come and seek God’s face at His altar.

PRAYER

Father, I thank You that You are always present with me and that wherever I go You are there. Lord, help me draw near to You through prayer, worship, and the reading of Your word. Remind me to commune with You throughout the day so that I can become a dwelling place of Your presence. Give me the zeal to seek after your face as my soul thirst for you each day.                       In Jesus Name, Amen.

GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY

THE LEADERSHIP OF MOSES

THE LEADERSHIP OF MOSES -

Moses responsibility as the Leader fell into five areas:

1.       Intercessor Prayer

2.       Biblical Instruction

3.       Providing Qualified Leaders

4.       Handling Conflicts

5.       Bringing Spiritual Breakthrough

1. Moses as Intercessor - Exodus 32:30-33

30 The next day Moses said to the people, “You have sinned a great sin. And now I will go up to the Lord; perhaps I can make atonement for your sin.” 31 So Moses returned to the Lord and said, “Alas, this people has sinned a great sin. They have made for themselves gods of gold. 32 But now, if you will forgive their sin—but if not, please blot me out of your book that you have written.” 33 But the Lord said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against me, I will blot out of my book.”

1. Moses as Intercessor

Isaiah 59:16 says, “the Lord wondered that there was no intercessor”, no one to intervene. An intercessor is one who intervenes between God and others, whether individual, church, community or nation.

Intercession is the slow painful process of waiting on God and haring from God, spending time in His presence and being still before Him.

Intercession is not only spending time with God and understanding God, but it is allowing God to put within us a spiritual burden for the congregation and for the vision.

2. Moses Teaching The Word of God

a. Exodus 18:19-20  (Jethro the priest of Midian)

19 Listen now to me (Jethro) and I will give you some advice, and may God be with you. You must be the people's representative before God and bring their disputes to him. 20 Teach them his decrees and instructions, and show them the way they are to live and how they are to behave.

(Read 2 Timothy 2:15)

3. Moses Providing Qualified Leaders

Moses was instructed to select a particular kind of person to stand with him and help bear the load of leadership. These were to be able men. - 2 Sam. 17:10

Moses picked men who fear God –men who revered God. These men were to have a healthy respect for God and live a holy life.

Moses was to provide leaders that could  respect and trust. He choose men of truth, men not moved by financial gain. He looked for men who had the spirit of wisdom. - Exodus 18:21

These were to bear the burden of the people with Moses imparting his spirit upon them – Num. 11:17-25

Quotations

When God called a man to leadership, He calls him to do His Work and not the work of other men. Leadership is an art of getting things done through people.

4. Moses Handling Conflicts

God gave Moses the ability to handle the conflicts in the nation of Israel.

Not all conflict are negative.  See the positive side.

Conflict strengthens our character.

Conflict makes us examine and purify our motives.

Conflict reveals faults and flaws in ourselves and in the church.

Conflict teaches us spiritual endurance and spiritual carefulness.

Conflict even sometimes jolt us into the will of God.

5. Moses Bringing Spiritual Breakthrough

The spiritual advancement of any group depends upon leaders capable of lifting up the rod and breaking through the obstacles at hand. The key is to move the people forward.

The following scriptures show the rod ministry (authority) at work:

To open a way where there is no way. – Exo. 14:16

To release water in the wilderness, refreshing the people of God. – Exo.17:5

To secure victories in the heat of warfare. – Exo. 17:9

To provide food for the flock of God. – Micah 7:14

To believe in signs and miracles from God. – Exo. 4:17

A Spiritual Breakthrough

Israel needs a spiritual breakthrough.  A breakthrough is a victory that removes longstanding obstacles and releases the people of God into a new realm of spiritual blessings and freedom.

Moses lifted his rod (authority) and divided the obstacles. With God’s anointing on our rod (God’s authority) we will break through every problems and obstacles before us.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father help us to pray like Moses – we desire your great presence in our midst. Lord, help us to seek your face and intercede for the people around us for salvation.

We ask for your divine favour and power to do your will in every circumstances of our lives. Help us to know you more and more of your love and the sacrifice of Jesus for us. In Jesus Name,  Amen.

BENEDICTION

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” (1 Peter 1:3)

May the Lord bless you and your family forevermore.
