HOW TO PREPARE YOUR SEED FOR SOWING

Galatians 6:6-10  -  New American Standard Bible (NASB)
The one who is taught the word is to share all good things with the one who teaches him. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. 10 So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.

In this year season of Joyful Giving, let me share with you a very profitable way of sowing and reaping. You need to know how to prepare your seed before sowing it into the intended ground for your expected harvest! If you want to have a bountiful harvest, you must never sow casually and carelessly! Your giving is SACRED! IT MATTERS TO GOD AND IT MUST ALSO MATTERS TO YOU!

Steps to prepare your seed ……

1. Determine the SIZE of your seed.

2. Prepare your seed by soaking it in the Blood of the Lamb & speak a prophetic destiny into it (what you want the seed to achieve - healing, financial increase, salvation of loved ones, etc)

3. Release the seed into the hand of Yahweh Tsabaoth, the Lord of Hosts, the King Who sends forth His Angels to fight your financial battles & bring the harvest to you.

How to prepare the seed .....

Hold the seed in your hand and pray like this, "Almighty God, I honor and worship You as the Source of my Total Supply! I thank You for giving me Bread to eat and SEEDS TO SOW! I NOW HOLD THIS PRECIOUS SEED IN MY HAND AND SOAK IT IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB! (this is to prevent the demon spirits from devouring it) I PROPHESY THAT THIS IS A SUPER PRODUCTIVE SEED THAT WILL BRING FORTH A BOUNTIFUL HARVEST FOR ME! As Isaac sowed in the land of famine and reaped a hundredfold that same year, so I shall sow this precious seed in the land of JUBILEE AND REAP A THOUSANDFOLD IN THE YEAR OF JUBILEE! The PURPOSE OF THIS SEED IS FOR ............ I now release this seed into Your Hand, O Yahweh-Tsabaoth, the Lord of Hosts, the King of Angels Who dispatches Your Warrior Angels to fight all my financial battles & bring my APPOINTED BOUNTIFUL HARVESTS TO ME! Thank You, O Lord my God, I shall reap as I've sown according to Your Unfailing Word!"

You have now prepared your seed, now you can give it to the person/ ministry that the Lord has indicated to you. -  By Judah Giam

Dearly beloved, are you facing an insurmountable obstacles and losing all hope of victory? Do you feel overwhelmed and powerless in your present circumstances?
Then run into the Strong Tower, crying out to the lord of hosts. May Jehovah answer you in the day of trouble! May the NAME of the God of Jacob set you securely on high...Some boast in chariots, and some in horses, But we will boast in the NAME of Jehovah, our God. (Psalms 20:1, 7) Our Redeemer, the LORD of HOSTS is His NAME, the Holy One of Israel.  (Isaiah 47:4)

Notes:
The LORD of hosts, Jehovah Tsabaoth is the Name of God we find used in Scripture when a man or woman is at the end of their rope so to speak -- Jehovah Sabaoth is the Strong Tower which God has made available for those times when we fail & are powerless, when our resources are inadequate, when there is no other help. And it is especially during those times that one comes to appreciate that God is truly the LORD of the Armies & of all hosts. In short, Jehovah Sabaoth speaks of God's available power in our time of trouble.

In 1 Samuel 1-2 Hannah was barren which was producing bitterness. Faced with impossible odds of having a child after years of infertility, in her brokenness she choose to cry out to the LORD of hosts & after a "face to face" encounter, her "dour" outlook was transformed into a radiant countenance. We find that despite the fact that Jehovah Sabaoth did not at that time grant her request for a son, nevertheless she came away a changed woman. In similar manner, sitting & pouring out one's soul in the presence of the LORD over heaven & earth (Coram Deo - Before the Face of God) can also transform our bleak, even potentially bitterness producing outlook brought on by our "barren" (desert-like, fruitless, empty, etc circumstances. So the first way to "run into the tower of Jehovah Sabaoth" is to cry out, seeking first the Greatness of the Giver rather than the gift, a principle echoed by our Lord Jesus (Mt 6:33-note)

Richard Mayhue writes that "Jehovah–Sabaoth or LORD Almighty (‘LORD of hosts) refers to God’s command of all His creation, which ensures divine victory over every enemy (Jer 11:20)." (Focus on the Bible: 1 and 2 Thessalonians)

GOD WANTS TO BE OUR GOD

Our text taken from Hosea 2:19-23

A) “I will betroth you to Me forever” - This word “betroth” is the word “marry” engage for marriage. God wants a relationship and is faithful in His relationships with us. How does He betroth us with? What benefits He has for us?

1.  In Righteousness

2.  In Justice

3.  In Loving kindness

4.  In Mercy

5.  In Faithfulness

The results are “we shall know the Lord” (Hosea 2:20) In Hebrews 8:11 it tells us “all will know Him”. We cannot teach believers to know the Lord – because we have limitations. And anyone who knows the Lord will know Him in the above five things. We cannot know God without His Righteousness (a gift) or without His Loving kindness or Mercy. We can also know God through His justice and Faithfulness because God is faithful. These five things mentioned above will allow us to have a good relationship with our Lord Jesus as He says He will betroth us (bride as the Church) forever.

Firstly, it is in Christ Righteousness not our righteousness. We are made the righteousness of God. We are at right standing with God. This righteousness has nothing to do with us. This is not about our obedience which is important too. It is about one man’s obedience (Jesus) that made many righteous. (Roman 5:19)

Secondly in Justice. How to know God in justice? We know God is fair. We are also justified by Him and no one should condemn us now in Christ. We are made right by Him. The book of Roman 8:33 says “who shall bring a charge against God’s elect?” Justice made us free from condemnation and guilt, fear and worry. Justice has made us so secure.

Thirdly, what is Loving kindness? Psalmist David says, “Thy loving kindness is better than life” Life is meaningless when there is no love and kindness. Love is beautiful – love is kind, gentle and they don’t get angry with you even if you look like a fool or fails in life. When everything fails love is built to last. God favors you because He loves you. (I John 4:19) God’s love is so lavishing because of His gracious grace – His unearned, undeserved, unmerited favor on us. There is no need to fight or struggle to qualify to get God’s favor and blessings. His grace is all over you and me because He first loves us. Our part is to trust His love for us and enjoy His favor. This is His Loving Kindness.

Fourthly, In Mercy – we deserve to be punished yet we are forgiven by God. God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Finally, God is faithful no matter what. If we are doubtful God will be faithful to us. If we fail or sin God is faithful. He is faithful because of Jesus who has punished for us already.

B) The second part in Hosea 2:21 says “It shall come to pass in that day (today) that I will answer” – The benefits of God answering prayers. Is God answering your prayers? Yes, He will! The prayer of the righteous man avail much … Elijah prayed for rain and rain has come! That means our prayers are effective because we are righteous. Righteous man is right standing with God. You can pray anything on earth to heaven God will answer you. God has an answer for you. God says “I will answer” and His answer is always “Yes” and He wants you to say “Amen”. That is what we need today – an always answer prayers because we are betroth or married forever.

C) The third part God says, “I will give the answer from heaven to the earth – and the earth shall manifest what? With GRAIN, with NEW WINE and with OIL. These are provisions for us and it also speaks more about the spiritual things. Jesus multiply the grain, turned the water into wine and Elijah’s oil overflowed. God not only supplies, He over supply us when there is lack. Supernatural things will happen when natural things dry out.

When Jesus multiplies the loaves and fishes for the 5,000 people, there is actually an oversupply. This speaks of surplus lifestyle in God. God who supplies seed to the sower and multiplies the seed sown and increase the fruit of our righteousness. God is giving an answer to earth and He is saying “Multiply”.  Be blessed!

D) Lastly, Hosea 2:23 speaking again on mercy He says, “I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy”. What is mercy? Knowing mercy is one thing but believing in His mercy is another thing. Mercy is what you deserve but you are pardon. Mercy pardons you even you deserve punishment. As you know, God is a Forgiving God and He must have a lot of Mercy. And we know God by His mercy.

May the Lord's mercy, loving kindness and grace be poured upon you all! Amen!

THE GRACE OF SERVING OTHERS

Romans 12:7-8  -  New International Version (NIV)
7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

New Living Translation (NLT)
If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.

I read the other day some devotional thoughts of a fine Christian man who lost a very good leadership position through downsizing in his company. He is such an outstanding leader and worker it is hard to believe that anyone would demote him. But it did happen. Now to make some extra money and to use his time for a good cause he cleans peoples' boats. You would think this man would be depressed, but not so.

He became the adopted parent of four college students from Costa Rica. It gives him great joy to help make their dreams come true. The loss he experienced in that very important company could not keep him out of doing God’s work.

Whatever your position is in the church, God can show you ways to be fruitful in every good work that you do for Him. Our ministry or gifts has the character of overflowing grace in terms of generosity, in zeal and joy. These gifts and ministry are given by the gracious grace of God. These are all the works of God effectively working in us and through us. The work of God is the work through humility and grace.

2 Corinthians 9:8  -   New International Version 1984
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Hebrews 13:21 -   King James Version (KJV)
21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Pray that God would help us to persevere to serve Him in every good work.
