YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS FROM GOD

YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS FROM GOD'S PERSPECTIVE

For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.- Romans 5:17

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. - 2 Corinthians 5:21

… that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection… - Philippians 3:8–10

But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness, just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works: - Romans 4:5–6

For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. - Romans 4:13

... so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. - Romans 5:21

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. - Isaiah 41:10

For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” - Romans 4:3

For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favour You will surround him as with a shield. - -Psalm 5:12

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. - Psalm 34:19

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. - Matthew 6:33

Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, but righteousness delivers from death. The Lord will not allow the righteous soul to famish, but He casts away the desire of the wicked. - Proverbs 10:2–3

Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked. The memory of the righteous is blessed, but the name of the wicked will rot. - Proverbs 10:6–7

The labour of the righteous leads to life, the wages of the wicked to sin. - Proverbs 10:16

The fear of the wicked will come upon him, and the desire of the righteous will be granted.- Proverbs 10:24

The hope of the righteous will be gladness, but the expectation of the wicked will perish.
Proverbs 10:28

The righteous will never be removed, but the wicked will not inhabit the earth. - Proverbs 10:30

In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death.
Proverbs 12:28

Evil pursues sinners, but to the righteous, good shall be repaid. A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, but the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.
Proverbs 13:21–22

The righteous eats to the satisfying of his soul, but the stomach of the wicked shall be in want.
Proverbs 13:25

The righteous is delivered from trouble, and it comes to the wicked instead.
Proverbs 11:8

Though they join forces, the wicked will not go unpunished; but the posterity of the righteous will be delivered.
Proverbs 11:21

Dont preach the fruit, preach the Root...

"The core of the Gospel is Christ as our righteousness. I find myself preaching less salvation, prosperity, healing, and signs and wonders than before. Instead I preach Jesus Christ our righteousness – and salvations, healings, signs and wonders follow."

RIGHTEOUSNESS

What is Righteousness?

Text: 2 Corinthians 5:21 & Romans 10:1-3

Definition of Righteousness
- Right standing with God
- The ability to stand in the Presence of the Father without any sense of fear, guilt, shame or inferiority
- To stand in the Presence of the Father as if sin never has existed

+–Can I grow in righteousness?

No, you cannot grow in the God kind of righteousness. However, you can grow in the understanding of this righteousness, and that is what Hebrews 5:13 says makes us mature as Christians.

+–Will I be more righteous in heaven than I am right here and now?

No, you are just as righteous now as you will be in heaven. You are already perfectly righteous. When you die you just move from your body to heaven, and later you will receive a new heavenly body. However, your spirit and your right standing with God is already new and perfect, and will remain the same in heaven.

+–Can a person loose his righteousness?

We never received righteousness by our works or lifestyle, but only through grace by faith in Jesus. In the same way we can never lose our righteousness based on our works or lifestyle. Because we have Jesus we are completely righteous to God. This important truth helps to bring people into assurance of salvation. I understand that righteousness is a gift from God, and that a person will not lose his righteousness if he sins. However, if a person sins, will the righteousness get some “dark spots?” Does Jesus ever get some “dark spots” on His righteousness? Since He is your righteousness, your righteousness will never get any “dark spots”, even if you commit a sin. (1 Corinthians 1:30, Romans 8:33-34)

+–I understand that righteousness is a gift from God, and that a person will not lose his righteousness if he sins. However, if a person sins, will the righteousness get some "dark spots?"

Does Jesus ever get some "dark spots" on His righteousness? Since He is your righteousness, your righteousness will never get any "dark spots", even if you commit a sin. (1 Corinthians 1:30, Romans 8:33-34)

+–Will not teaching with a strong focus on grace and righteousness lead people to sin more?

No, these truths will not set people free to sin but rather set people free from a lifestyle of sin. (Romans 5:17, 2 Corinthians 3:9) It will not lead people to sin more but to sin less. More about this question is found in the teaching articles.

+–As Christians, are we forgiven sinners?

No. This may be a surprising answer to some, so let’s look at it a bit more. According to Romans 5:19 we all became sinners because of one man’s sin (Adam), and we become righteous through one man’s obedience (Jesus). When we got born again the old man (the sinner) died and the new man (the righteous new creation) was born. We are now called saints and righteous, and not sinners. Who are then forgiven sinners, since it is not the Church? It is all the people in the world, not yet being born again. What a wonderful message we have to them: “YOU ARE ALREADY FORGIVEN BY GOD! Jesus has already paid the full price for your sins too, no matter what you have done! Will you now receive Him as your Savior and receive the gift of righteousness and a brand new life from Him?”

CELEBRATING EASTER

I think it is very appropriate that we are talking about sanctification at Easter (Resurrection Sunday), because if we understand grace in sanctification, we will have a different concept of Easter than we do now.

How does the world see Easter? According to secular magazines, Easter means spring – new beginnings – touchy feeling things – pastel colors.
How do believers see Easter? We remember the following:
* Jesus died.
* Jesus was put in the tomb.
* Jesus was resurrected.
* [Then we add—] And there are implications for the elect because of those things that happened to Jesus.

Let me say: that is good to do, and that is what we should do. However, we cannot stop there. Easter is not when we remember things that happened to Jesus a long time ago, things that have implications for me.

For a Christian—
Easter is when we remember events that actually happened to you – to me.
Many Christians celebrate their spiritual birthday based on the day they were saved, and I like that. But there is a way to have another birthday: Easter is every Christian’s birthday. It is not just something that happened to Jesus; it is something that happened to me – to you.

* On [Good] Friday, my old self was nailed to the Cross. * On Saturday, my old self was placed into the Tomb. * On Sunday, I came out of the Tomb, but I did not come out the same person.

I was put on that Cross on Friday as a slave to sin and I came out of the Tomb on Sunday morning with the power of sin broken.

We do not act as though the power of sin is broken in our lives. That is very unfortunate. Though our sin nature was not eradicated, its power was broken. The reason the old sin master still exercises power over us is that we are empowering him. He does not have to have the power; we empower him.

As we will see, we empower Sin in the following two ways:
1. By not doing some things we should do, and
2. By doing some things we should not do.

And let me stress—

RESURRECTION COMMUNION DAY

New Covenant Table

As we draw close to the Lord's table - we are drawn near to Him. We come boldly for his strength and victory for our life. Let's partake of His Resurrected body that will strengthen, heal us and remove our guilt and condemnation and give us the power to live life abundantly.

Take this "Resurrected body broken for you" and remember Me! The answer to the greatest need in our life is about to break through in the Spirit of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. From the time of Christ's birth to 999 A.D. was the first day. From 1000 A.D. to 1999 was the second day. And with the advent of 2000, we have prophetically enter into the third day. Today it's RESURRECTION DAY". The third day when Jesus was resurrected from His grave. That Jesus who was resurrected from the grave has a Spirit of a Breaker. He broke loose from death and into hell and went back to heaven.

Hosea 6:1 says "Come, and let us return to the Lord; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up. vs.2 After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight."

The Breaker is the Lord Jesus Christ, is going before us to break every stronghold that binds us and to meet the greatest needs of our lives. Every barrier that stands in the way of our miracles and blessings are coming down!

Whatever that big need are in our lives, it is about to break, because Jesus the Breaker is here.

Isaiah 45:2, 3 says "I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight:

I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and

I will cut in sunder the bars of iron:

I will give thee the treasure of darkness, and hidden riches of
secret places that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee
by thy name, am the God of Israel."

May the GRACIOUS Good Lord Jesus bless you in this time of the year! Amen!

THE WATER FALL OF FORGIVENESS

The Water Fall of Forgiveness

What is sin? Whatsoever is not of faith is sin. If you are confessing your sins all the time, how then can you have courage or faith before God? How can you enjoy liberty as a child of God? You tried it and it is impossible. My doctrine is more “God forgiveness” focus rather than “confessing sins” focus.

How are you sins been forgiven? Not through confessing alone but through the Cross once for all. So don’t build a whole doctrine on one verse. Suppose one day you forget to confess your sins – what would happen? - I John 1:9

But the Word “cleanse” denotes a present and continuous action which means that from the moment you receive Christ, the blood of Jesus keeps on cleansing you. It is as if you are under a water fall of His forgiveness. Even if you fail, this waterfall never stops. It keeps on keeping on, cleansing you from all your sins. God wants you to be Forgiven conscience than sin conscience or guilty conscience.

Boy with Smooth Clean Stone

Let me tell you a story of a boy found a beautiful smooth stone. He played with it. He hid it in the muddy earth every time he wanted to go home. But one day he found a stream and he put the stone under the water fall. Every time he came the stone it was cleansed. (Waterfall of forgiveness) The stone experienced a continual washing and the boy don’t have to wash it every time through his hands. (symbolize our good works and effort)

Now what happen under the old Covenant. Each time you sinned you had to be cleansed. But before you knew it, you would sin again and have to bring your sin offering of either a bullock or lamb to the priest to be cleansed again. There are some believers thinking we are in this old covenant. But let me declare to you that Jesus blood is far greater than the blood of bulls and goats. The blood of Jesus bought us eternal forgiveness. The old covenant could only offer temporal forgiveness and every time you failed.

Jesus however died on the cross once for all. When you were born again you became a living stone and God placed you right under the waterfall of His Son’s blood. Hence, every thought – every feeling that is not right, every action that is not good is washed away. You are always kept clean and forgiven because of the continuous cleansing of Jesus blood. Many of us sang there is power in the Blood! This is the power and revelation. Praise the Lord!

Every morning devotion – Thank you for your precious blood – waterfall of forgiveness. It keeps on keeping on cleansing you from all your sins. Your sin debts has been paid fully and forgiven. Be forgiven conscience now! Thank you and believe it and miracles will begin to happen in your life. You will go out victorious – reigning in life.

The above story was taken from Joseph Prince book “Destined to Reign”

RESURRECTION AND LIFE ANOINTING

What Is Easter All About?

Our Text is taken from Acts 2:22-41

Easter is about Resurrection. Easter is not a day it’s a lifetime to experience. It is God who is causing the world to change, transform and giving us hope when there is no hope. It’s God, who is behind the resurrection and the raising of Jesus from the dead.

It is about God shaking and changing the world. It is not about resuscitation of a dead body. It is about resurrection! It is not about God being a good friend when life is touch. It is about God creating a way when there is no other way. It is about a God who fights evil until evil is destroyed, about a God who raises Jesus from the dead just to show us that God is in charge.

What God did on Easter morning is invading that tomb where God did on Christmas morning in a virgin’s womb. God made a breakthrough when there is no way God make the earth to shake and offered healing and new life, giving the world a change to start over again, a chance for love to overcome hatred, a chance for life eternal to overcome death.

Jesus said to Mary and Martha, “I am the resurrection and the life; he that believeth in Me though he were dead yet shall he live. Jesus was telling them when Lazarus was in the tomb yet to be raised. It doesn’t matter how much comes into our life to destroy us. Or who or how many have tried to hide our potential for greatness. Sin can do it’s worst, but there is a RESURRECTION POWER AVAILABLE TO US THROUGH JESUS CHRIST. He told Mary and Martha, “I AM the RESURRECTION and the LIFE.” Jesus came today to declare the RESURRECTION AND LIFE ANOINTING TODAY IS FOR YOU AND ME!

What do you do when God is “dead” in your life? You need resurrection and life. When some parts of your life is dead. Jesus is your resurrection! He is my HOPE! Resurrection does not come once a year for us to celebrate – it is every day in our Christian walk. Jesus in us is not about the dead stuff. He is about the new life and all things are becoming new everyday. – 2 Corinthian 5:17.

Easter is allowing God – His Resurrection power to transform our lives, change our attitudes towards God and others. We are allowing His Resurrection power to heal our sick bodies. We are allowing His power and life to flow into our jobs, church and ministry, business and visions. Jesus is Alive for one purpose – To give us Life and quicken our mortal bodies. Let Jesus revive our finance, business, marriage life and family, even our spirit and visions.

Once we understand the anointing of the resurrection, it does not matter where death lurks. It must bow and the resurrection power of Jesus will make a way through into our life to live again victoriously now. Believe with me Jesus is our Resurrection and our life! In Him we live and move. Just as He is we are! As He is so are we!

Let there be Resurrection Breakthrough even more in your life and family this Easter. May the gracious Lord bless you this Easter Resurrection and give you life more abundantly.

Scriptures: John 5:21 "For the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will."

John 6:63 "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life. But there are some of you who do not believe."

Roman 4:17 "... even God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as through they did..."

Roman 8:11 "But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ form the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you."

Romans 8:11 -KJV "But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you."

The Greek word "quicken" is "zoogoneo" is to endure with life, produce life and preserve life together." Ephesian 2:5 and 13
