THE KINGLY ANOINTING

The text taken from:
Rev. 1: 5-6: “Jesus Christ…the ruler over the kings of the earth.  To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father…”

Rev. 19:16: “And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”

1) What is an Anointing?

Anointing is the ability to do something with ease, and ability to achieve something under the power of God. Every child of God should have the anointing of God.

When God grant you the anointing, you will not lose direction. When God grant you the anointing, you will have the power of the Pentecost to confront your enemies.

2) God Has Given Everyone An Anointing

(Luke 4:18-19 NKJV) “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the Gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; {19} To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.”

1. The anointing is given to preach the Gospel to the poor
2. The anointing is given to heal and restore people
3. The anointing is given to proclaim freedom to the captives
4. The anointing is given to open blind eyes
5. The anointing is given to set people free
6. The anointing flows in God’s timing and proclaims God’s timing.

3) The Anointing of God Teaches You  - 1 John 2:27 NKJV)

But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

4) The Kingly Anointing is an Anointing for Ruling and Reigning

God has destined you to reign and rule in life as a king. Not only does He want you to know you’re royalty, He also expects you to live as one.

Revelation 1:5–6 “and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth.

To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, 6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen”.

5) The Kingly Anointing is one of the most powerful anointing that an individual can possibly carry.

1 John 2:20  But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.  V.21  I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

6) The Kingly Anointing is very powerful and poses a great threat to the realm of darkness.

Col. 1:13 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

As God’s royalty, you’ve been divinely delegated to exercise authority and dominion over the devil and demonic forces of darkness.

Ecclesiastes 8:4 says, “Where the word of a king is, there is power….” Your words are backed with power to change any negative situation, and put the devil to flight each time.

7) The Kingly Anointing has  Spiritual  Dominion

Ps. 72:8:  “He shall have dominion also from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth.

The Hebrew word for dominion is ‘redah’.  It means to ‘tread down, to subjugate, to subdue, to rule, to prevail against, to reign, and to take possession’.

The spirit of dominion is the most powerful anointing to operate through a servant of God.  It is the manifestation of the kingly anointing---the authority and power to rule in the spirit realm.  It is an anointing that prevails.

When Jesus (the Greater David, the King of kings) comes, He will manifest HIs power and dominion over everything.

1.  His dominion over demons.  (Lk. 4:36; Col. 2:15)

2.  His dominion over the devil. (Phil. 2: 10-11).

3.  His dominion over death. (John 11:25; Luke 7: 14-15; Rom 6:9)

4.  His dominion over diseases. (Mt. 14: 35-36)

5.  His dominion over time and space. (John 11:39; 11: 43-44;  Matt. 8: 5-13)

6.  His dominion over the elements. (John 2:9; Matt. 14: 19-20)

7.  His dominion over the forces of nature. (Lk. 8: 24-25)

8.  His dominion over laws of nature. (Mark 6:49)

9.  His dominion over all.  (Mt. 28:18; Eph. 1:21)

10. His dominion is everlasting. (Dan. 7:14; Rev. 11:15)

Prophesy :

“I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying that a fresh oil is flowing from Heaven upon the church. This anointing is the Kingly Anointing. It is reserved for those who are fully committed to the call of advancing the Gospel of the Kingdom. This anointing is a necessity if the church is to establish the Kingdom of God here on earth as it is in Heaven.

Signs and wonders will follow as the Word is carried out into fruition. This anointing is the apostolic power of God that empowers believers to move in the supernatural authority found in Christ our King. Not having the Kingly Anointing is what has kept many crippled in poverty and ineffective in their ministry”.   Amen! And Amen!
