WELLS OF GRACE AND LIFE

Digging Wells For Our Present Generation To Drink

Our Text is taken from Genesis 26:19 which reads - "And Isaac's servants digged in the valley, and found there a well of springing water."

And in Genesis 26:21-22 the bible says, "And they digged another well, and strove for that also: and he called the name of it Sitnah. {22} And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land."

In Genesis 26:25 "And he built an altar there, and called upon the name of the LORD, and pitched his tent there: and there Isaac's servants digged a well."

Issac dug the wells that his father had claimed, but he dug new wells and made his own claims. This is our generation to dig wells for ourselves and others. And our spiritual wells come from none other than Jesus Himself. Thank God for the spiritual territory claimed by our forefathers, but we have got to claim spiritual territory as our own from the enemies.

We see when the new wells were dug there will be great opposition. The devil never likes for wells to be dug in his territory. If you try to dig a well you can expect opposition. Isaac dug wells but he was fought each step of the way.

1. The first well was named Esek which means contention.
(Genesis 26:20) "And the herdmen of Gerar did strive with Isaac's herdmen, saying, The water is ours: and he called the name of the well Esek; because they strove with him."

2. The second well was named Sitnah which means hatred.
(Genesis 26:21) "And they digged another well, and strove for that also: and he called the name of it Sitnah."

In John 4:1 - "When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John. Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples, He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee. And he must needs go through Samaria. {5} Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. {6} Now Jacob's well was there."

Today, Jesus declares - “But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” – John 4:14

Jesus was telling the Samaritan woman to drink only from Him. But the woman was looking to Jacob's well. I believe Jacob's well represents our own effort or works instead of God's grace effortlessly. This well also representing the Law which cannot save and satisfies us.

Many of us tried hard to drink from the right water Jesus provides, yet we can be thirsty. Maybe we are trying to drink from the wrong well. We need to drink from the water that is freely given by Jesus not from our strength to draw for ourselves.

We need to stop drinking from the old wells of our past traditions and worldly pursuits. And wells of complacency, doubts, contentions and hatred. There are also wells of dryness and death. Instead of wells of lack and guilt and condemnation we need to dig into the wells of abundance and His love, life and grace. We also need to dig new wells deep into the water and river of Jesus gracious grace. Start digging into the wells of God's Revelation and Wisdom. There are wells of Joy and Freedom in Christ. You can even sing as you dig into the water of God. This is the well of unspeakable joy as Christ is the well of Living water spring up within us. Today, the enemy is trying to cover up the wells of our Salvation that Jesus gave us. Stir up the gift of God which is in you. (2 Timothy 1:6)

The Israelities sang this song “Spring up, O well; sing ye unto it” Numbers 21:17. Let God’s well flows until His Gracious Living Water spring up within us. We must allow Jesus well to flow continually and eternally from within us through the power of the Holy Spirit. The scripture says, “He that believeth on me (JESUS) as the Scripture said – out of his BELLY shall flow rivers of Living water. But this spake the of the Spirit which they that believe on Him should received. – John 7:38, 39

May God's well of Living water and grace spring up within you now!

Scriptures given:

I HAVE HELPED YOU!

My text was taken from 2 Corinthians 6:1-2

"We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. vs. 2 For He says: "In an acceptable time (favorable time) I have heard you. And in the day of salvation I have helped you." Behold, now is the accepted time, behold, now is the day of salvation." Notice some of the phrases in the bible:

Firstly “as workers together with Him”

Secondly “not to receive the grace of God in vain”

Thirdly “ In an acceptable time or favorable time I have heard you
It talks about our desperate time and prayer times. Today is our favorable day because of Jesus Grace. We are to receive His grace during desperate and difficult times.

Fourthly “In the day of salvation I have helped you”
It talks about our daily basis God’s help is there.

Fifthly – “Behold, now is the accepted time and now is the day of salvation”
Every thing God does is now. God is in the now business. He doesn’t let you wait
when you need healing. Healing was paid immediately. Just like a banker when you cash your money with a cash cheque. When you need help it is now! God is the now faith. Faith is now. Faith is believing His Word for you is now. Believe it!

God says by your stripes you are healed. It is past tense. Why? Because God has no time zone.
He healed us yesterday, today and forever. He healed you at the cross. He knows when you are going to get sick He paid for your healing. You healing was paid at the Cross from the beginning you are born to the day you die. If you can claim your healing now so the same with help.

Likewise is help. It is past tense. “helped” When you cry out for help – you are now helped.
Present help and your future help is there too waiting for you to be helped by God. God even paid your help from beginning to the end for your life. Your help is now too. Faith is believing your help is coming fast. If you want to be healed when? (next year) Can you wait? If you want to be helped. Help is offered now. Psalms says: God is the present help in time of trouble.

Now is the accepted time I have heard you, God says, not two years later. When you are drowning? What do you do? You cannot shout. You only can cry help in your heart. God hears you and says wait for two hours later help will come. NO! God knows how to help you in His time. He knows when is urgent and when you can wait.

God does not postpone His grace. Grace is for today and daily we receive His grace.
We cannot work together with Him without His grace. His grace is His unmerited favor, undeserved and unearned favor. For grace will strengthen you and help you to the end.

Someone says, “Grace means the absolute goodness of God and only His goodness coming my way! Never judgments, never divine frustrations, never divine disapproval.” Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. Every day God's desire is to dump abundant goodness on you and His mercy. We will never be short of His goodness and mercy.

My Declaration of Faith for Today

Isaiah 41: 10 – “Fear not, for I am with you (in person) Be not dismayed, for I am your God. Yes, I will help you, I will strengthen you I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

God's promises are all "Yes" and "Amen"!
May the good Lord bless you abundantly!

COMPARISON ON LAW AND GRACE

Our text is taken from Hebrews 12:22 it says, "But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the Living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just (righteous) men made perfect,

vs.24 to Jesus the Mediator of the New Covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel."

On the first Pentecost of the Old Covenant, the law was given and the law as we know it is a ministry that takes away life and kills and condemns. On the first Pentecost of the Old Covenant on Mount Sinai, 3, 000 people were put to death. On the first Pentecost of the New Covenant
3,000 people were saved because life came gushing into the earth. On the first Pentecost of the Old Covenant they spoke of the works of the law and how the law focused on what man must do. In New Covenant Pentecost they focused on the mighty works of God - that is where the focus of the New Covenant is. Not your works but the mighty works of God!

Now many Christians have got their feet on Mount Sinai and one foot on Mount Zion. Because Mount Zion is where New Covenant Pentecost came from. You cannot add grace to the law - you cannot have your feet on both - but they do! Old Covenant focuses on our works but New Covenant focuses on His mighty works!

The devil wants you and me every day to focus on our works - our sins - our shortcomings - our failures. The Holy Spirit wants you to focus on Jesus righteousness as a gift for you! The devil wants you to focus on what you SHOULD do and what you SHOULDN'T do! This power will get you doing a whole lot of things without you even TRYING to! The Holy Spirit under New Covenant Pentecost wants you to focus on what Jesus has DONE and the works HE has done and the mighty works He HAS done on the Cross and the mighty resurrection - what HE did for YOU! The Old Covenant focuses on what YOU should be doing - the New Covenant focuses on what HE has done for YOU. Jesus mighty works for YOU, on YOUR BEHALF!

That is why we need to worship Jesus for what He has done for us all.

Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His Name. (Hebrews 13:15)

"Now the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead... through the blood of the everlasting covenant, (God) make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen." - Hebrews 13:20-21

HEAVENLY WORSHIPERS

THE HEAVENLY WORSHIPERS
Our scriptures are taken from - Revelation 4; and 5:11-14

In Revelation here we see great worshipers in heaven. In Chapter 1, we catch sight of the Magnificent Christ and Chapter 4 we find the most marvelous worship. In chapter 2 and 3 it talks about His seven Churches. In Chapter 4, John the Apostle saw the Throne of God in its splendor. He saw the appearance of the One who sat there had jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and a rainbow around the throne. It’s the Throne room of God. God is enthroned here and is His eternal throne.

Something similar happens to us as we draw near to God’s throne to worship; the light from this rainbow-encircled throne bathes our souls so that holiness, grace, truth, and love shine with their true colors. And nothing illuminates and enriches the soul more than worship. It’s through worship we see light and light shines into our dark hearts.

In Revelation 4, 5 revealed five companies of Worshipers and five songs that are sung. These five songs are sung in the act of worship.

1) The Four Living Creatures worship the Eternal God - Rev. 4:8
The first song is adoration of God:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is, and is to come” Rev 4:8

In order for worshipers to get close to the throne it is necessary to pass through this “crystal sea”. It is suggestive of the fact that worshipers have to be cleansed and sanctified before they can draw near. Yes true worship involves first a cleansing, a purifying.
Then John v6 saw 4 creatures which represents aspects of creation. The first was a lion, ox, face like of human being and flying eagle. These four creatures represent lion speaks nobility; the ox - strength; the human face – wisdom, the eagle – swiftness.

2) The Four and Twenty Elders worship the Creator, GodRev. 4:10,11
The second song is about God’s creative power 4:11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God to receive glory and honor and power for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” As they fall down before the throne and worship Him that lives for ever and ever.

Worship is the inner health made audible, said CS Lewis. He said we will become better for having worshiped, for in the act of worship our personalities are made healthy. We are going through the door of worship “we complete ourselves; we become all that we were meant to be.”

Worship is a Lifestyle and daily experience. Matt. 15:8, 9. Worshiping is not a matter of skill and technique (not how many tongues you speak – its good). It is not confined to just singing some songs during a weekend church service, it is a lifestyle and daily experience. True worship flows from the life of one who has an intimate relationship with God. It is the response of our spirit to the Presence of God. The greatest worship offered to the Lord may not be audible or musical. Worship involved more than yielding the voice and emotions to God, it involves the will as well. Obedience to God serving Him, reaching out to others in His love and bringing glory to His name are among the highest acts of worship.

Quality worship can only flow from quality worshipers. Powerful and anointed worship can only be released by anointed worshipers. The kind of atmosphere created during worship is determined by the spiritual condition of the worshipers heart and spirit. God is not looking at lips worship but our hearts are far away in worship. In fact the Grace of God will help us in worship.

3) The Living creatures, Elders worship the RedeemerRev. 5:8-10
This is the third song – a new song – is to Christ, the Lamb of God. Many songs are mentioned in the Scripture. At creation the angelic host shouted and sang for joy. Moses sang. Miriam sang. Deborah sang. David sang and dance. Mary sang. Jesus and disciples sang, Paul and Silas sang. Singing cannot be repressed in the people of God. Nowhere do we find a song like this. It is a song of redemption and described as a new song. In the Old Testament during Moses time - a new song celebrated a new act of divine deliverance of intervention. Are there are song books in heaven??? Songs are written in their hearts and sang from their hearts.

But v.10 the phrase “a kingdom and priests.” It was mention three times in Revelation. We had a crown in our head and a censer in our hand and we shall reign on earth.

4) The Living creatures, Elders and Angels worship the Lamb, the Conqueror of Death. - Rev.5:11,12
The powerful 4th and 5th songs are the ones occupying our attention now. The fourth song begins like the third but is sung by many angels whose number cannot be counted. They focus their praise on the Lamb but as we never subjective. Angels never knew the joy that our salvation brings.

If the Lamb has received power the Church has it too. Riches and Wisdom and Strength, Honor and Glory and Blessings. The Lamb is Christ - the Head of the Church. If the Head enjoys the Sevenfold Blessings so are we the Church. The bible says, “as He is so are we” in this world. We as kings and priests ready to rule and reign with Him. We have what He has. Jesus conquers death and was slain but worthy to rule and take the seal and break it. Jesus gave us Spiritual Breakthrough and all kinds of Breakthrough.

Isaiah 52:9 says, “Break forth into joy..” If you want a spiritual breakthrough in your life you must break forth. Break forth into singing, into dancing into joy, into praise into prayer and into spiritual worship. Begin by letting your voice break forth – out of your spirit will flow Rivers of Living Waters.

In Psalms 103:1,2- “Bless the Lord O my soul and all that is within me, Bless His holy name! Bless the Lord and not forget His benefits”

One thing I observed that those who remain too quiet, who seldom sing or praise out loud, who refuse to yield their tongue to pray in the spirit. The lazy tongued becomes powerless believers that are easily defeated by the enemy. The enemy wants to silence us. He wants to silence our singing and worship. He wants to stop the fountain of our life from flowing forth. Why? Because when we sing we impose silence upon the enemy. The mouth of the accuser is silenced. Psalms 8:2 “Out of the mouth of babes and infants you have ordained strength, because of Your enemies, that You may silence the enemy and the avenger” Therefore let us open our mouth and learn to break forth spiritually in praise – it’s our weapons.

Rev. 19:11 “Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war”

2 Corinthians 10:4 says, “our mighty weapons of warfare are for pulling down strongholds.” How they pull down the walls of Jericho – through the long blast with the ram’s horn and with a great shout the wall fell down. One of the powerful warfare music will be one of the most powerful weapons for spiritual warfare in these last days. There is an anointed prophetic warfare music. Our music must be music that pulls down strongholds not only soothes our souls and mind. This kind of music may be new to others and they are uncomfortable with it.

I Samuel 16:23 – Music of David in his hand refreshed King Saul and made him well, and the distressing spirit would depart from him. Mighty weapons of music worship casting out devils. That’s in Old Testament. God uses music to do His work and to defeat the devil and his kingdom. Worship is in the last book of Revelation and given 2 chapters – ended with a four letter word “Amen” verse 14 which means “Yes”. John calls it the last word in worship.

It is the worshiping affirmation to the God who affirms us. When we come to God in worship we are immersed in God’s Yes, a yes that silences all our no’s and calls forth an answering yes in us. We respond to His Yes by saying yes. The promises of God are “Yes and Amen!” And we say yes, yes, yes. (Say Amen together) In heaven they still practiced it. Jesus Name is Amen and True

5) Every Creature, in heaven, on earth and under the earth, worships the Ruler of the Universe Rev. 5:13, 14

The Last Company and the fifth song were sung and join together the blessings of creation and redemption. Imagine hearing every voice in creation being lifted in adoration of God and the Lamb! Are you convinced that you must open your mouth and praise God? If not you would not join this company of people in heaven.

Rev. 7:9-12 – Will you be included here? These are Prophetic Visions John saw in the future. Can you see yourself worshiping Jesus and the Father at the Throne of God? Would you like to see? Yes then we need to start doing here on earth. Break forth in singing. Rocks would sing too and God is seeking True Worshipers today! Throne Room Worshipers and Mercy Seat Worshipers and these are powerful and they produce great power in prayer and intercession.

MAY THE GOOD LORD BLESS YOU AS YOU WORSHIP HIM TODAY!

MERCY SEAT WORSHIPERS

THE MERCY SEAT WORSHIPERS
Our text is taken from Psalms 132:1-18 and Joshua 3:1-11

God is looking for a church that has learned how to build a mercy seat for His glory. When He finds a people that has paid the price to build Him a resting place, He will come and He will stay. That is when we will see revival that is unlike any other place we see before. This type of revival only come when God comes in His weighty glory and takes His seat of honor in His Church. We welcome God’s visitation, but our real desire and His desire are for habitation, where His presence lingers and lives with us daily.

History of the Ark of Testimony
The Ark of God started from Moses time in the wilderness to the Canaan land; from Jericho to Shiloh; and to the Philistines and back again through Bethshemesh, Kirjath-jearim and the house Obededom. During David’s time it was moved from place to place and finally to Zion at the tent in Jerusalem and in the temple of Solomon. This was the last habitation Zion – Psalms 132:13 says “The Lord had chosen Zion (represents The people of God) and had desired it for His habitation. This is my rest forever.”

The two cherubim of gold are of hammered work and they faced the two ends of the Mercy Seat. They faced toward the mercy seat and they wings covered the seat and they faced one another. Once a year the Mercy Seat was sprinkled with animal’s blood – representing the Blood of Jesus atonement. The Mercy Seat is a symbol of atonement, appeasement, meeting place of God and man. God said to Moses, “There I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy-seat.” At the Mercy seat we obtained mercy for the past, and grace for the present and future.

Psalms 22:3 says God is “enthroned upon the praise of Israel.” The Japanese Translation of the original Hebrew text for this verse “enthroned” says that our praise “builds a big chair for God to sit on.” That kind of worship will shake the earth and set captivities free! God is looking forward to it. He wants to tabernacle among us. He wants to sit among us as we sit with Him. He wants to take over so that there will be so much of God and less of man.

MERCY SEAT WORSHIPERS MUST TURN THEIR BACK ON MAN’S FACE AND SEEK GOD’S FACE.

Today’s church with so many religious duties, events, programs, etc. There is too much of man in the church and too little of God. We have pleased men so much and response to man’s approval and forget to about how to please God in worship. For mercy seat worshipers, we must turn our back on man. Seek after the face of God. Lose the fear of man and gain the fear of God. If we can be like David he fueled the Flame of God’s presence with 24 hours worship. At the recent Olympics games in Sydney – they torched on the flames until the games was over. So let the Light of His Glory shines and everybody will see the splendor and power of God penetrating into their souls.

That was why David built a tabernacle without a veil or walls so that it touched people. God wanted his people to behold His glory ... full of grace and truth.
But the O.T. Priesthood had kept His glory into the four walls of the Temple and it lost touch with the world outside. The glory of God was not unveiled in the temple for 100 years during the dark ages. Indeed it was dark. Today, church! His glory is in us do we want Him to shine like the Olympics torch and let all the nations come and see or do we want to box Him into one corner of our hearts.

MERCY SEAT WORSHIPERS MUST STAND AT THE GAP AS INTERCESSORS TODAY
Ministry of Reconciliation - The Mercy Seat where the Blood is sprinkled is the altar of God and a “warring and weeping zone ” If you’re at the Mercy seat you are as one standing in the gap for the people as intercessors. We have a ministry – that is the Ministry of reconciliation in the weeping zone. We are called to pray and intercede in worship until God and man have met together. (Loved ones and saints knowing Jesus as Savior) As I mentioned earlier, John said, “We beheld His glory … full of grace and truth.” – John 1:14b
The world needs God’s grace, but His truth and Mercy must meet it. Build a weeping mercy seat for God’s people – His saints and sinners in our cities.

Yes, every Sunday or Sabbath day we pray intercede and worship God until we break open a hole in the heavens and let God come down upon us in His Manifested glory. All satanic forces will flee in every direction. And all the “tides and hites” have to go.

Psalms 132: 15 says,“I will abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her poor with bread. I will clothe her priests with salvation and her saints shall shout aloud with joy. Vs. 18 His enemies will I clothe with shame but upon Himself shall his crown flourish.”

If we build God’s Mercy Seat and worship Him according to the heavenly pattern. He will come and stay and habitats in us.
