Our Text is taken from Matthew 8:2-3 "And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean."
Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
God wills and God is willing to bless and heal us. He is willing to protect and prosper us in our lives. However, many Christians only believe God but they still asked, "Is He willing?"
They only believe a God of unwillingness. God is willing to heal - if He can heal, He will also bless and prosper us because He can do all things if we believe He is willing.
A leper came to Jesus years ago asking "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean." Jesus did not say "let me see if you have perform well or not" or "obey all the ten commandments" Let me see if your mother or father have sinned and passed to you or not. Or let me see you love God enough or not? NO! NO! All Jesus say is "I AM WILLING; BE CLEANSED." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. What a wonderful and great gracious God we have.
God is not looking at your performance, your failures and your faults or sins in order to bless you. GOD WANTS YOU TO BE BLESSED AND YOUR FOCUS IS ON HIM NOT YOU! Now all your spiritual and physical blessings is in Christ because of what He did for you at the Cross. God is not respecter of persons if He will willing to do for others or the leper 2,000 years ago -He will still do anything for you. If you want a breakthrough in your life, Jesus now is saying to you, "I AM WILLING" now to help you, fear not!
The leper was a highly contagious disease and no one could come into contact with him for years. But Jesus reached out and touched the leper for the first time in his decaying flesh which no one would want to. How would the leper feel for the first time? Of course, he would feel loved not only healed. Likewise, Jesus not only wants to heal and bless you but He wants to love you as much as He wants to. Do not doubt His heart of love for you. Be completely absorbed in His love and His great gracious grace towards you.
Ephesians 3:20 "Now to God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above ALL that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."
May the Great Gracious and Willing God Bless all of you!
