THE FATHERHOOD OF GOD (FATHERS DAY)

The Prodigal Son -  Luke 15:17-24
¹⁷ “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! ¹⁸ I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. ¹⁹ I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ ²⁰ So he got up and went to his father.
“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.
²¹ “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
²² “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. ²³ Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. ²⁴ For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.

This is the story of the famous Prodigal son and how he came back to his father after spending all he had taken from him.  Then the scripture says he came to his senses.  When can we come to our senses in the spirit to know that our heavenly Father have enough food and blessings for us that we don’t have to starve to death.  The word says, “I will go back to my Father”  

When we call God our Father, it means that we enjoy a covenant relationship with him.  We are also attesting that God is a person, one who we can know and have fellowship with, because father is the language of human relationship.  He is not an impersonal God. He cares for us and does provide for us. He loves us and sees our needs.

Firstly, in Luke 15:19  the son says, ‘I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’  

That is what the devil wants us to confess when we sin and fail God every time.  But God forbids that.  Today God the Father is restoring the revelation of son-ship.  The revelation of son-ship is what will take the Church to a greater level of doing the same miracles that Jesus did. It is not just our inheritance to do the miracles that Jesus did - it is the absolute will of the Father to do the same miracles that Jesus did.

In 1 John 3:1-3 - King James Version (KJV)  -  “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

"Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” 

Notice the word now we are the sons of God whether we have failed or sinned, our status remains as it is. God is not our employer he is our father and we are his beloved sons of God.

Secondly, notice the phrase that the Father said, “My son was dead but have come alive”.  Why was he ‘dead’ all about?  He was ‘dead’ because He felt the father did not love him. He was ‘dead’ because of his performances. He was ‘dead’ because he did wrong. He was ‘dead’ because he never knew the love and blessings of the Father. We can be dead for many reasons.  We are dead because of sins but Christ has made us alive because of the Fathers love.

Many believers lived of what the Father considers ‘dead’ in religion, in works and performance. But today God is restoring LIFE, MORE LIFE AND ABUNDANT LIFE into our lives.  Let us have a revelation of who the FATHER IN HEAVEN is and touch his love.  Let our Christian life be living and joyful in abundance.

Thirdly I saw, in verse 22 it says “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. 23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. 24 For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate."

When we failed and returned, God still brought us the best of everything – here the best robe is the Robe of righteousness.  He brought the Ring of authority and power back to our lives.  The Sandals of freedom to choose to become his son again.

“If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the “Holy Spirit” to those who ask him!” – Luke 11:11-13. 

If God can give us the Holy Spirit that is God Himself – He will give us the best of everything in life.  This is what the Heavenly Father is all about.  We read in Luke, “how much more” God will give you everything in life to make you successful.  Amen!

THE KING'S PSALMS

This is the Psalm of David and a type of us as believers.  When we read these portions of scriptures we thought it is always saying something about King David.  But in the New Testament we are kings and priest of the Lord.  (See Revelation 1:6)

The first verse in Psalms 21:1 it says, “The king (you and me) shall have joy in Your strength, O Lord; And in Your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!”  The Joy of the Lord is our strength and in His Strength there we receive His joy and salvation. The Lord is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. (Habakkuk 3:19)  Surely, His strength is made perfect in weakness.

The next verse two says “You have given him his heart’s desire and have not withheld the request of his lips.”  It is God’s desire to give us our heart’s desire because His love for us.  And if we pray with faith He will not withheld the request of our lips.”  God never refuses to answer scriptural believing prayers. In fact, it is God’s will to hear our prayers.  God is listening for you and whatever your heart’s desire is. You and I serve a prayer answering God. “What things so ever you desire, when you pray, believe you receive them and you shall have them”  - Mark 11:24  “The desire of the righteous is only good…” Proverb 11:23
The third verse tells us that God will meet us with the “Blessings of goodness”.  Every good gift comes from God and it is a blessings. God has installed all His blessings for us because of His goodness.  We not only need a blessing, but also we need the blessings (specific).  It is time we receive God’s best. God has provided for you a life without lack where He commands such a blessings and it overtakes and overcome every hindrances and every trials. God created you and me because he wanted somebody to love and bless. We can walk into the goodness of God’s blessings each day.

The fourth verse tells us about the life and God is willing to give us life.  What kind of life?  A long life, holy life and fruitful life.  Some could enjoy a joyful and prosperous life.  A life full of abundance for all His children. Someone says eternal life is a gift. But this eternal life is sufficient in quantity, superior in quality. Some says this life we experienced is a loving life from God. The sixth verse says, “For God have made him (your name) most blessed forever; You have made him (your name) exceedingly glad with Your presence.  Vs. 7 For the king (you and me) trust in the Lord and through the mercy of the Most High we shall not be moved or shaken.”

I like the word “most blessed forever”.  God does not only blessed us He wanted to us to be the most blessed person on this planet earth.  Everyone that believes is blessed but God wants us to be the “MOST” blessed person on this planet.  And this is not only one time it says it is “forever”

The last verse says, God has made us exceedingly glad enjoying His presence daily.  For our joy are to trust Him daily – His grace and mercy and we shall not be shaken in times of trials and needs.

May the Lord bless His Word to you today!  Begin to enjoy the privilege of a king. You are that king.

PROPHETIC DECREES FOR JUNE 2013

In the month of June, you shall have an overflow of Divine Inspiration!!!

Job 32:8 says “But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty gives them understanding.”

I decree that understanding will not elude you, where people lack ideas, your heart and mind will be full of creative solutions!!! God has planted His Spirit that will lead you at all times unto undisputable truth!!! Dare to believe when doubt and fear surrounds you, that God won’t leave you stranded!!! Ideas to change Malaysia or wherever you are will flow naturally!!! Your mouth will speak words that will ignite the passion of others!!!

I decree that your life will lighten those around you, people will draw inspiration daily as they see, meet, hear and share with you!!! What God has given you this month no man can take away from you!!! You are ALWAYS ABOVE ONLY – NEVER BENEATH THE CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!!!!!

By the Anointing of the Holy Ghost, at the beginning of this new month, I prophesy to you...

BECAUSE OF YOUR DOUBLE GRACE, YOU SHALL BE TEN TIMES BETTER THAN YOUR EQUALS!!!

EVERY ANCIENT AND LONG LASTING BATTLE THAT HAS HINDERED YOUR PROGRESS IS ABRUPTLY ENDED!!!

THE PHAROAH YOU SAW LAST MONTH, YOU WILL SEE NO.MORE BECAUSE GOD HAS UTTERLY DROWNED HIM IN THE RED SEA!!!

ALMIGHTY GOD WILL GRANT YOU ACCESS TO SECRET SOLUTIONS TO YOUR NEXT LEVEL!!!

BECAUSE OF THE ALTAR OF PEACE THAT YOU CARRY, NOTHING WILL BE MISSING AND BROKEN IN YOUR LIFE!!!

GRACE IS THE REVELATION OF CHRIST

Grace Is The Revelation Of The Authority Of the Believer – Matthew 28:18;  James 4:7

The scripture says, “My grace is sufficient for you” What grace?  That grace is God’s revelation of our authority in Christ. God never asked us to pray and ask Him to do something about the devil.  God said, “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you”.  All power is given and all grace is given unto you to do the work of the ministry.

     Paul realized that he couldn’t do anything in his own strength or ability to prevent the persecution that was coming against him. Instead, he decided to use the authority that Jesus gave him and to believe that the name of Jesus, the blood of Jesus and the Word of God were sufficient to overcome his problem.  It is the blood of Jesus that gave us grace that we can overcome the devil.

In Revelation 12:11 - King James Version

“And they overcame him (devil) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

Grace as the Revelation Of The Word Of God – 2 Corinthians 12:10  New International Version (NIV)

10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

     As long as Paul complaining about the persecution wherever he went, he was not in faith. As long as he was feeling sorry for himself and as long as he was discouraged, he couldn’t access the grace available to him.  Grace was available the whole time, but only when Paul moved into the realm of faith was he able to access God’s grace.

How did Paul make the switch from discouragement to faith?  Just by speaking God’s Word out of his mouth.  He overcame him (his problem) by the Word of God. Paul said, “For when I am weak (in my own self), then am I strong (in God)” When you speak what the Word of God says about you instead of doubt and unbelief, you gain access to the grace of God.  The word of Grace gives us life and strength because we are in Christ. It gives us faith to reign in life.

Satan has no right to be in your house or near your children. He has no right to be influencing your finances. He has not right to be in your mind (body) or touch anything else that belongs to you and God.  God has given you the supernatural authority or right in His Word to resist him. We need to fight the good fight of faith in God. You can exercise your spiritual authority and His spiritual gifts.  God has given you His Mighty Gracious Grace to reign in life today!

Praise the Lord and Worship Him!
