MORE GLORIOUS MINISTRY

Glory of the New Covenant -  1 Corinthians 3:7-11

7 “But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away, 8 how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious? 9 For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory. 10 For even what was made glorious had no glory in this respect, because of the glory that excels. 11 For if what is passing away was glorious, what remains is much more glorious.”

In the Old Testament, the glory that shone from Moses’ face was glorious and brilliant and Moses had to put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look.  But the ministry of Moses was passing away. It was temporal and fading glory.  The ministry of Moses cannot be compared to the Ministry of the Spirit in the New Covenant. The bible says “it exceeds much more in glory” than Moses glory.

God is providing a better greater glory much more glorious than the former one.  When Jesus came He promised many better things and ministry for the Church.  The glory of the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory and will never fade or passed away.  It is a glory that increases and grows daily as His Spirit fills our lives and as we follow Jesus from “glory to glory.”

So as ministers of the New Testament of the Church we have the privilege,  power and authority to stand and minister in this more glorious ministry in the Spirit.

When we worship God, God’s glory has the ability to touch deeper into one’s spirit and draws a deeper response from the worshipers.  As God manifest more of His glory our worship will be taken to a new and higher level.  His glory will in the last days increase in signs and wonders for these are the manifestation of God’s glory.  Glory and worship and revival go together.  God’s glory will bring forth Revival fire and produce holy zeal among the believers today.

And Jesus will be exalted and given the place of prominence and His glory will be made manifest.  And the Word of God says “that no flesh should glory in His presence” - 1 Cor.1:29.   “And all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.” - 1 Peter 4:11 - The word says that Jesus is full of the Glory of God and “we beheld His glory.” - John 1:14

May the Lord bless your ministry and the Church of Jesus Christ.
