Paul wrote in Roman 15:15 and 2 Corinthians 7:4 "Nevertheless, brethren, I have written more boldly to you on some points, as reminding you, because of the grace given to me by God, that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ...." and "Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my boasting on your behalf." Paul himself experienced this boldness of grace as he ministered the gospel of truth at that time.
When the grace of God are in our lives there are spiritual boldness and this is common in the early church. They spoke the word of God with boldness and the bible says "great grace was upon them all" Acts. 4:31 When they saw the boldness of Peter and John the bible says they marveled. As they were filled with the Holy Spirit they spoke the Word of God with boldness. They prayed for boldness that they might speak God's Word without fear.
I believe this is the boldness of the new covenant of grace. This is the new confidence and faith that made us sufficient as minister of the new testament. The letter killeth but the Spirit gives life and boldness to the believers and Paul. Today it is given to all of the New Covenant believers in Christ because of His Abundant Gracious Grace. This is one of the facets of the diamond that we see. This same boldness is upon our lives and sometimes we are even afraid to testify concerning the gospel of grace and truth. We can pray to allow God to fill us afresh with His Gracious Spirit of Grace that we might minister in the boldness of His Grace. If we have revelation and prophetic grace we also need this boldness to share it to others.
May the Lord give you the boldness of grace to do his work and bless you all greatly.
