THE YEAR OF SHINING FAVOR 2013

THE YEAR OF GOD’S SHINING FAVOR HAS COME                                        
      Our Text is taken from  PSALMS 102:12-22 and  PSALMS 67:1 

This is a portion of scriptures written for our generation (YEAR 2013 BEYOND) to fulfill as in v.18 “This shall be written for the generation to come”!  We shall see this portions of the Word of God fulfilled under our eyes today for the churches.  God shall arise – when God arise something will be done. The first thing is that He shall have mercy on Zion (church) for the time to favor her the set time has come. This is coming to fulfillment now.

1)  GOD’S FAVOR RELEASES MERCY UPON THE CHURCH   vs. 13

God will arise and have mercy upon Zion.  Mercy is “deep compassion on the suffering”. This is the Mercy of the Lord.  What was God’s mercy on Nineveh?

a)      His Mercy is Great – Ps. 103:11,12,17

b)     His Mercy is Enduring – Ps. 106:1; Jer.  33:11

c)      His Mercy is Plenteous – Ps. 86:5; 103:8

            God showers us abundantly not grudgingly.

d)    His Mercy is Tender – Lk. 1:78  - God pours as a Father not a judge.

e)    His Mercy is Rich – Eph 2:4

       He doesn’t keep His riches to Himself. The Lord gives us His fullness.

f)     His Mercy is Saving – Tit 3:5 

g)    His Mercy is Abundant – I Pet 1:3

          It is not a brook that dries up in summer, but like the sea which is unlimited.  His mercy is any army to encompass us – Ps. 32;10; His sure mercy shall follow us all the rest of our days – Ps. 23:6 God’s compassion are infinite, eternal and unchangeable.

The time to favor her has come, set time!  (future time). 

Eccles. 3:1 – “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”  This is the time to be born, a time to plant, a time to heal, a time to build up, to laugh, to dance – why it’s the 3^rd day.  Year 2013 is a time to LIVE FOR JESUS and manifest and shine His LIFE.

2) GOD’S FAVOR DRAW HIS SERVANTS TO TAKE PLEASURE IN HIS CHURCH. Vs 14.

“Thy servants take pleasure in church stones and dust” . vs14  This points to the rebuilding of Jerusalem during Nehemiah’s time.  It applied to our church in its low and dry conditions.  David’s tabernacle has fallen so low.  Just before the time of Jesus first coming – Simeon and Anna had an intense desire; zeal for the Glory of God (Revival); and building up of Zion.  The conditions of true church is often been low today.

God has mercy upon Zion (His Church) that His servants will look with interest and strong desire on her ruins – a sure sign of approaching restoration and revival.  This zeal would affect others just like Nehemiah – rebuilding the temple of Jerusalem.

(We as servants – temple of God today)  Just look at the conditions of our lives today.  God must raise up an army of zealous servants of God.  “Thy people will be willing in the days (3^rd day) of Thy Power.”

3) GOD’S FAVOR CAUSES KINGS TO FEAR HIS NAME AND GLORY. Vs.15

This verse says: “heathen shall fear the Name of God and His Glory”.  The Gentile nations, non Jews.  It is a Time of converting sinners great people like kings and queens.

Isaiah 59:19 “So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun.”   Signs and wonders is coming back to the churches today.

4) GOD’S FAVOR CAUSES THE CHURCH TO MATURE AND BE GLORIFIED IN HIS PRESENCE.    Vs. 16

We call it church maturity.  This is a time of great favor to the church which has not gloriously display its divine perfection yet.  Bible says “He gave beauty for ashes”.  The great revival in the days of Ezra was more marvelous than the rebuilding of the holy city.  The people sit for hours listening to the Word.  The books was opened, silence and respect was there.  (Ezra 7:10;  21; 10:1)  Church maturity causes us to shine in His GLORIOUS GRACE.  So that we shall appear in God’s glory.

How to shine when believers are in ashes, depressed, condemned, complaining, no time for prayers and seeking God!  In maturity there is no more self- seeking!

Songs:  No more half-dead religion, 

               No more truth mixed with lies

               No more light mixed with darkness. 

               Truth has opened our eyes.

               No more half-dead religion, No more Pharisee bread

              No more doctrines of demons.

              We believe what You’ve said.

             We are the light of the world. 

             All things are new now, the old things are gone.

             We shine revealing His truth. 

             His truth is marching on 2x.  Is marching on..

             No more minds in confusion. No more living in fear

             Now we worship in safety.  Now Revival is here.

             No more demon oppression. No diseases unhealed.

             No more quenching the Spirit.  Now the light is reveal.

THE CHURCH IS IN ITS SHINING GLORY NOW! SHINING BRIGHTER

 

5) GOD’S FAVOR BRINGS GOD TO ANSWER PRAYERS INSTANTLY  vs. 17

Truth will act now “Healing is now”   We are tired of truth only – We want life and power.  Jesus prayed for 5 loaves and 2 fishes – it multiplied instantly.  Miracles happened instantly.

Jesus prayed to stop the wind, it happened instantly not 5 hours.

              Jesus healed the blind, sick, oppressed – it happened.

              Jesus is saying “greater things shall ye do in My Name” 

This is the Year of God’s Shining Favor – Your prayers will be answered like a lightning hit you!”

6) GOD’S FAVOR PRODUCES MANY MIRACLES AND HEALINGS.  Vs. 20

·         To hear the groaning of prisoner

·         To loose those that are appointed to death. Who? 

                Cancer  cases; ICU patients

·         He looked down from heaven!

·        Whosoever call upon the Name of the Lord shall be

               saved   instantly.

·         Many shall fear the Name of the Lord.

7) GOD’S FAVOR CAUSES THE PEOPLE TO GATHER TOGETHER IN UNITY AND TO SERVE GOD’S KINGDOM.  Vs.22.  – Kingdom Unity

·         No time for backbiting, divisions, splitting petty things.

·         Disunity cause any organization to die  (body)

·         Unity in serving His Kingdom – We are City Churches.

·      People of God – fathered together in intensive prayers, with same mind and purposes.

·      For His Kingdom’s sake.  – Not for church sake, self-sake; name sake or some big name sake!  Their main purpose is to Serve the Lord sake!

Acts 2:42 – They continue in the apostle doctrines; in fellowship, breaking of bread, in prayers.  Many signs and wonders were done by the apostles. And all that believe were together and had all things common.  Vs 46 “daily continue with one accord in the temple” – The Lord added to their numbers such should be saved.

Psalms 133:1 “Unity causes anointing to come down.  The Lord commands (no choice) blessings even life forevermore.  Unity releases anointing and power.  Unity releases blessing of all kinds.  Unity releases His Life to flow to us in the 3^rd day. 

Believe this Prophetic words this day. This is not a message to tickle our ears.  It is the Word of the Lord and it shall come to pass!  V. 18 says “This shall be written for the generations to come!”  It’s here!  Church!  Amen!  Let it be!  Come Lord Jesus!
