THIS IS MY BODY!

Matthew 26:26-28 says “And as they were eating Jesus took bread, blessed it and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”

Vs 27 - Then He took the cup and gave thanks and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.

Vs. 28 – For this is My blood of the New Covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”

The above scriptures Jesus says, “this is my body” and we believe also that we are one body with Jesus. This is because Jesus is the head we are His body too. There is a connection with this body in the New Covenant. When Jesus was in this earth He was not sick or having a fever. His life is full of joy, full of health and full of life.

When the women who was suffering and had a tissue of blood touched Jesus garments she was totally healed. Jesus clothes were even soaked with power and healing. If the Jesus clothes could healed that woman how much more His body and blood. As many as touched Jesus were made whole for the bible says power went out from Him and healed them all – Luke 6:19

In the Old Testament when a group of Moabites was burying a man and they put that man in the tomb of prophet Elisha. And as the dead man touched the bones of Elisha he became alive. The bones of Elisha resurrected the dead man. The bones of Elisha has life and the dead man came to life again. The man of God has died but the God of the man has not died. That was the old covenant and it had miracles.

Today Jesus saying to us “as often as you eat this bread” his broken body and drinks this cup of His blood and as we discern His body then power will flow into our bodies and heal us too. The bones of Elisha could resurrect a dead man – what about the blood of Jesus the Son of God that we drink and partake and touch with our mouth, could it not do better. Divine life and power will flows into us. As in a physical body blood will flow from the head to the body and legs.

Wherever Jesus walked, whoever He touched, he healed them all. This is the picture He wanted us to see. So He said, “Do this in remembrance of Me.” Do this in remembrance of what I have done for them and I will do for you! Jesus is the same today, yesterday and forever. This is the power of His body and His blood today! This is the power of the ministry of bread breaking – Holy Communion.

Each Sunday or other days you partake His bread and cup I believe life and healings will flow. Miracles after miracles will flow. Blessings after blessings will flow into us. Just as He is so are we! We received everything He has for us. As Jesus received blessing, honor, glory and power so the body received too – His church. And we are His church. Today Jesus wants His believing church to be healthy and blessed like Him.

Each time we partake of the Holy Communion it is not a ritual or symbolic act. It is not a routine dead thing but a living divine power that comes from heaven the True Bread that will nourishes us and take away all our sickness and diseases and we can have Jesus supernatural health. So eat this bread and cup with a revelation! At Emmaus the disciples eyes were opened when they have communion with Jesus. In Luke 24:30 and 31 it says, “He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. Then their eyes were opened (spiritual revelation) and they knew Him…” who this Jesus was.

May "this Body" become a revelation to you and me now!
