THE HIGH PRIEST MINISTRY

 Hebrews 4:14-16; 5:1,2; 7:26
There is a new Man on the Throne with a Ministry. And that man is Jesus Christ our Lord.
Let us discover what kind of ministry is it? How does it operate? How do I know that I have been chosen and blessed for such a ministry?

The Ministry of Jesus
The Ministry of Jesus is the ministry of perfection. We also know that the ministry of Jesus put away the curse of the law. He was our Redeemer, being made a curse for us. Sin, sickness, poverty and death are under the feet of the Head of the Church.

1. The High Priest Ministry Flows out of Zion, the Throne of God – Hebrews 8:1-6
God lives in a Three-room House: The Outer Court, the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place.  Jesus says “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life: no man cometh to the Father but by Me. – John 14:6
The Outer court is the realm of faith. The Holy Place is in the realm of hope. But the Most Holy Place is the realm of love.
The third room is the living room and the living room is the loving room.
The Fire of God is Coming!
The Outer court we were baptized in water. The Holy place we were baptized in the Holy Spirit. But the third dimension room offers baptism of fire. Heb. 12:29
The Most Holy Place is the place of fire. There is fire in our spirit. Fire burns, cleanses and purify us to perfection. The Fire of God is coming to His Church.

2. The High Priest Ministry – Ministry of Forgiveness and Blessings – Heb. 4:14-16
The High Priest meets the needs of people. He feels for the unloving, uncaring and the hurts. This ministry is not too busy ministry.
When we come to Jesus He is forgiving and a blessing to us. He is loving and caring.
Hebrews 5:2 – “For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:
2 Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.”

Mount  Zion  Ministry
In the Old Testament they received Mt. Sinai ministry. It’s a throne of judgement. Mt Sinai ministry killed men with the law of sin and death.
But today “we have come to Mt. Zion we minister from Zion – from the Throne room and we are giving life and mercy, grace and forgiveness and our love from God to the people.

 
3. The High Priest Ministry is the “Order of Melchizedec” – Hebrews 5:7-10
The Hebrew word for Melchizedek also means “king of righteousness, king of justice, righteous, upright counselor and righteous judgment.
Jesus is the King of Righteousness. Abraham was refreshed after the first battle with the Mesopotamian kings and readied for the second battle and he was encouraged in the meeting with Melchizedek who gave him bread and wine blessings.
The Church Ministry With Jesus
As I said the Church has entered into this type of Ministry. This is a perfect Priesthood ministry greater that of the Aaron ministry. The Melchizedek priesthood gives to man, whereas the Aaronic priesthood takes from man.
The Throne room ministry feeds us, strengthen us and refreshes us. But the old covenant ministry condemns us. The ministry that blesses and another one that curses and judges us.

The Melchizedek Ministry
This Melchizedek ministry flows out of the indwelling Christ, it flows from the heart and not the intellect. This anointing Throne Room ministry will be caught, and not taught; it must be imparted spirit to spirit. When we speak, we speak in the realm of the Spirit. This ministry is upgraded.
We pray in the Spirit, sing in the Spirit and see and hear in the Spirit. We flow and minister prophetically in the Spirit of God.

Jesus Our High Priest Offers A Better One
                      Hebrews 8:1
“Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, “who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected and not man.
Jesus Is Better Than the Old Testament High Priest and Sacrificial System.
He offers superior sacrifices, a perfect pardon, a perfect intercessor, a perfect covenant a perfect work at the Cross for us. Now in heaven sitting at the right hand of the Father having its priestly services that are endless till today. 

The Ministry of Blessings
When Jesus died and rose again. He became our High Priest and his priesthood is “according to the order of Melchizedek”. Why this Melchizedek priesthood?
This priesthood gives to man and Melchizedek gave bread and wine to refresh a tired Abraham after his battle with the enemy kings. The Healing Ministry of Jesus.
The first word that came out of Melchizedek’s mouth was “Blessed” – “Blessed be Abram” - Genesis 14:19. The priesthood always bless believers never curses or condemn them or brings fear.

So are we conscious of Jesus our High Priest ministry to us every day? He said “Come to the Throne of Grace in time of need – today is our time of need and trouble. 

     In Revelation 5:7-14
“Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!

The day Adam sinned mankind lost the glory and power of God and Jesus came and brought back. Jesus took back the fullness of the 7 fold blessings.  Jesus was slain to receive back what was lost for the church. Just as He is so am I.  Jesus is my everything now. He is my power, wealth, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and blessings. Are all the 7 fold blessings belongs to the church?  
    1 John 4:17   Yes! Amen!

LET US PRAY
Thank you Heavenly Father for sending Jesus to be our High Priest to minister to us daily. Today we are so blessed because of Jesus who was slain for us.
We thank you for all the provisions, power, blessings and cause us to be fruitful in every way. Thank you for your forgiveness and blessings and the Revival fire coming upon the Body of Believers.
Lord, stir us up today as in the Ministry of Jesus for greater things to do in Your Name. We speak life and healing to this ministry.
We speak power, wealth, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and blessings. We receive all the 7 fold blessings belongs us as the Church.  Thanking you!  In Jesus Name! Amen!
