THE STRENGTH OF THE LORD

The Word of His Grace is Strength - Acts 20:32

32 “Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified”.

The Lord is strengthening His people daily and everywhere they go.

1. The strength of His grace is to empower – “My Grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness” – 2 Cor. 12:9 Strength in weakness? What a contradiction?

The concept of strength in weakness is really about emptying ourselves of ourselves, so that God can fill in the space. It's only by admitting our weaknesses, and accepting God's grace that we can gain true strength. In many spiritual battles, or even tests of will, our own strength is not enough to carry us through. We need God. And the only way we can get God's strength is to get ourselves out of the way and let Him work.

The Strength of His Grace. There is strength in the Grace of God. God is the God of all grace. The grace of God in your life is to end weakness. God will replace godly strength for you to live for Him and serve Him. Grace will build you up and give you an inheritance – Acts 20:32  What grace calls you – Grace provides, restores, establishes and strengthens you.

2. The Strength of His Arm to Sustain - Isaiah 51:10

“Fear not, for I am with thee: be not dismayed, for I am your God, I will STRENGTHEN YOU”. You will never runs out of the spiritual strength when you depend on the love and grace of God.  His grace will not only strengthen you but gives you the life and power to go through this difficult times in life.

3. The Strength of His Love to Inspire - 2 Cor. 5:14

“The love of Christ constrained us.14 For the love of Christ compels us,…God’s love compels us to forgive.

4. The Strength of His Joy to Gladden. - Nehemiah 8:10

“The joy of the Lord is your strength” REJOICE ALWAYS - Philippians 4:4

“Rejoice in the Lord always, I will say it again: Rejoice!” How often are you to rejoice?   Answer: Always! You are to rejoice always, because joy is the easiest fruit to lose.

Our strength is always in the Joy of the Lord. And in His strength we receive His joy and salvation.  The Lord is my strength and He will make my feet like the feet of the deer and make me walk in high places. (Habakkuk 3:19)  Surely His strength is made perfect in weakness.

Psalms 21:1 says, “The King (you and me) shall have joy in Your strength, O Lord; and in Your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

5. The Strength of His Word to Comfort - Psalms 119:50

“This is my comfort in my affliction, for Thy Word has quickened me”

The Holy Spirit is our Comforter and His Word will quicken us to give us strength for the day. There is joy in reading His Word too. It is not boring time as we read His Word daily.  My Word is Life and brings salvation to all the scripture says.

6. The Strength of His Power to Qualify - Acts 1:8

“You shall receive power, after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me.”

Draw Strength from God - Psalm 28:8

“The Lord is our strength, and He is the saving refuge of His anointed.” Many times we could not lay hands on people to pray for them for we ourselves are not confident enough.  But the power of His Strength will come upon you and you are able to prophesy and release the spirit of knowledge and discernment to the ministry God has called you to do.

May God Bless You!  May He fill you with power and strength for His Glory in these last days. His Gracious Glory is Coming to consume us as never before.
Amen!
